How big is the town you live in?

We live in a fairly decent size town, about 35,000 I think. Anyway we are moving about 40 miles away to the country. The town has only 400 people in it! I have lived in small towns before but not even this small and this is definitely a blink and you'll miss it town, but it is beautiful country.

I used to live in a small town. about 5000.

Now I live in a city that's way to BIG about 3 million. I'd love to live in a smaller place again.

I don't, but my parents do, they live in a town of ~2300. In their state they are concidered a city.

forgot to add the population of my town, it is 10,349

3 million is pretty big! I'm from California so I am used to the big city life. I guess I'll have to take up bird watching....

That's not to bad. Is there shopping? I am going to have to drive 40 miles on through a mountain pass just to a Wal*Mart for diapers and such and 160 miles to any decent sized mall!

well there is Wal-Mart, we are getting a Target, we have a Fashion Bug and some other small stores.

I think we have around 3500 people, but we've got a Wal Mart, and a McDonald's, so I guess we're on the map!

Momof3, we're up to about 7800 now.

I grew up in Des Moines, Iowa. I think they're around 200,000?
