Salt & Pepper Delight

Pour 1/2 cup of salt and 1/8 cup pepper into a sauce pan and stir. Heat till it sticks to the bottom of the pan, then remove from the heat. Sprinkle pepper over the top and place back on the burner on medium heat. Cook for 1 hour. After it cools you can lick the bottom of the pan like a lolipop. Make several pans as treats for your guests.

Seriously?

I can see it now: all my dinner guests sitting around my living room licking frying pans.

For real? with nothing to dissolve the salt in even? It would seem the only result would be burnt seasoning.
