I'm sorry to hear that you had to choose, Izdaari, but at least you will continue to post here, if not vote! I hope we at WWMC don't set up that rule - otherwise I'd have to choose between here and OBOB, and, well, I don't want to do that. I love both forums.
Thank you. I've been a regular here a long time, before all the changes and long before the new Conservative forum existed. I've never claimed to be a liberal, but I've always found the company and the conversations here to be good.
Well hey - liberal or not, you're always welcome here. Why throw people out for not being liberal when you can have good fellowship with them?

Exactly so. They've made it a rule violation to be a member of both. No biggie to me: I know you guys don't mind the kind of stuff I post here whether I'm on the list or not, and you'll get along fine without me voting.
Well, as far as I am concerned, people who live here but also sign up at other fora are still muchos appreciados here!
Aww, that's sad!
How about you're our first honorary non-voting member?

I think the honorary/non-voting/associate member thing is a good idea - I'd prefer not to join any congregation at all but have learned quite a bit in three different ones

I don't yet have a "Congregation" home here on CF, so I am taking you up on your fourm motto. But I won't come under false pretenses. I am not a liberal. Politically I am middle-of-the-road, leaning toward conservative. In terms of religion I am conservative, but not fundamentalist. But I don't toe the party line. I consider each issue separately and prayerfully. On some issues I can even wind uptaking an extremely liberal, even fringe position.
I am hopeful that some of your regular members who know me from other CF fora can vouch for my good intentions and polite manners. I beleve that UberLutheran, whom I know from the homosexuality debate forum is one such member, and I am sure that there are others.
As per your wiki rules, you'll need to move me to the non-voting member list.

So, which way to the coffee and donuts?
I just read your Wiki guidelines, and the only thing I can see that disqualifies me from your defintion of a liberal is that I don't self-identify as a liberal. It seems your definition is broader than mine.
