Creation & EvolutionForum for the discussion of this important topic. This forum is open to non-believers. There is a Christians-only forum in the Christians-only section too.
Why do Creationists (and a lot of religious people) love denial?
Metaphorically speaking.
If you believed something was white,
but it was proven to you beyond a doubt that is was black,
how does your head still allow you to believe it's white?

That's because we are looking at a negative where white is black and black is white. It's just like looking at this forum I see white yet there isn't any white dots on a LCD screen only blue, green and red. ( of course the light behind the screen is white except when there's no power)
Also in a way a LCD monitor is a negative to a CRT monitor. CRT adds voltage to a point on the screen to glow red, blue, green together to make white while a LCD adds power to block light from shining through those dots to make them dark.

Are you in denial that this thread contributes absolutely nothing whatsoever?

If you genuinely believe it is white you go to heaven, if not you go to hell if the white believers are right, or get nothing at all if they aren't, either way there is no point in believing it is black.
After ten years I got fed up with pretending it was white

Because DeNile is a river in Egypt.

Once you have committed an act of cruelty, or dishonesty, or lechery, or public jackassery, you have to justify it to yourself, by telling yourself "my victim deserved cruelty", or "I was justified, it should have been mine, I needed it", or "I am weak and besides everyone does it", or "wisdom of this world is foolishness so the foolishness of the world must be wisdom".
It is the self-justification, the denial, that is always the greater sin because it precludes repentance and reform.
