Don't mention it.
It might be beneficial to every one if people were more insulting,
and started letting other people know how they felt about things,
and not just standing back and watching as the young people in their
country were being systematically indoctrinated with rubbish.
Saying it's none of your business now won't help you when they
are passing laws to teach your children to hate science, and
there's not a thing you can do except leave the country.
They talk about how there is to much sex and drugs around today,
then to counter that, they fill their childrens heads with crap,
the kids have three choices, perverted by sex, brain destroyed by drugs
or creationism,
what with sex, drugs and religion, that's a cocktail guaranteed
to destroy the minds of all of them.
Or we could all be nice and let people do whatever they want, because it's none of our business anyway,
until it's too late, then instead of blaming ourselves for letting it happen, we can blame them for making it happen,
either way it's all messed up and beyond repair.

Sounds awful and all, but I fail to see how rants like this one persuade anybody. Luckily, there's a happy medium between ignoring creationists and mocking them.

If anyone needs proof about the damage religion can do, just read this young mans
posts, he doesn't know what's happening to him, he's been told one thing to believe,
but everyone else tells him it's wrong and crazy to believe it.
Where does he get these crazy ideas about miracles from?
what possess people to teach the young garbage like that?
why don't other people step in when they see children being abused
by having their heads filled with this nonsense?
Why don't people who want to believe crazy and stupid things just believe it and leave
other people alone, they are like junkies trying to get everyone else addicted and praying on the young.
It's all so mind numbingly stupid, it defies all logic, decency and is downright
dangerous, the young will grow up brain damaged, what is happening? do American adults hate their children so much?
they must know they are not doing their children any favours.

I'm guessing that 50% or more of the people who have cared for you, loved you, and who took care of you all of your life would be in the group of people you are directing this vitrole toward. Why don't you write them a letter or email and explain how evil and stupid they are. Let them know that they hate their children. Start with whoever taught you to read and move on from there. Maybe your own parents should hear it from you.
You sound as unreasonable and as far fetched as creationists. You are simply appealing to emotion. You are no different than those that tie Hitler to evolution.
You should get out of your basement and give your momma a hug. You sound so lonely and sad. You seem to be reaching out here at Christian forums. After all, you keep coming back voluntarily. You say that Christians should leave others alone yet here you are voluntarily coming to discuss things with us. Seems like you really want to talk to Christians. That's the first step to talking to God.

Right, and this here is the pinnacle of level-headed political correctness.
I don't have any issues with the manner in which you write. I'm sure that you really did type the whole thing up "quietly." What makes this a rant is the content. I'm not saying you're not allowed to think things like this, just that there are better ways to discuss religion with creationists than to equate their religion with perversion or to accuse them of outright stupidity. Would it kill you to at least be a little more subtle?

well, here's a reason why people look down on atheists. people see christians willing to die for them, then they see atheists acting on proud emotional impulses and hardly presenting any evidence at all; all they see is atheists just telling everione else how stupid they are.
my advice: take a chill pill and quit being so arrogant. i'll have to agree with notto on this one, especially the last statement.
