Toby: Actually, I didn't think it was appropriate to invite children since it's, uh, you know, there's gambling and alcohol. And it's in our dangerous warehouse. And it's a school night. And, you know, Hooters is catering. Is that enou-is that enough? Should I keep going?
Michael Scott: Why are you the way that you are? Honestly, every time I try to do something fun or exciting, you make it not... that way. I hate... so much about the things that you choose to be.
Neither Willtor nor I were looking for someone, although many posters in the Singles forum (where we met) are. I guess these things find you when you're not looking for them, in a place you don't expect to find it. *shrug*
Don't get me wrong....I was dating, but was more 'expecting' to meet someone within 15 miles of where I live. Who knew my perfect match would be all the way across the U.S.?!

The few people that I've talked to in this situation weren't looking for someone when they met their "person" on CF, so it's not really a function of not being able to meet someone IRL. I concur. Neither Randy nor I were looking for someone.
Actually at one time I had "single and NOT looking" on my CF bio.
Luckily that did not stop Randy from liking me just confused him.
We both came to CF for general fellowship.
Although we both had posted in the Singles and Fab 40 forum...
We actually met in a fellowship thread in the "open" area.
Do you all mind if I ask how far away you live from each other?
When IP and I first started dating we lived about 50 miles apart, now we are around 150-200, but we still see each other at least once a week. I am going to be moving hopefully next month and the distance will be much less.

We're over 1000 miles apart.

Yeah. Weird thing, though -- he's in the town where I used to live, not too many blocks away from my old apartment. We totally could have walked passed each other in the grocery store or whatever.
