http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,287842,00.html Emergency workers believe Stoltzfus climbed into the pit in an attempt to rescue Showalter. When the two men didn't come out, Phyillis Showalter and then the couple's two daughters apparently made their way in, all succumbing to the deadly gas.
I tend to believe the first went in, then the wife and friend went in an collapsed, and the 2 girls went next.
Rather then going in one at a time.
You'd think after the second one fell the rest would call for help.(first one thinking he had a medical problem, rather then being over come by gas.)
