Reps: 16 (power: 0) | | Anti-2nd-amendment education bill could be approved any day now Heads up, God-fearing America (this goes farther than gun "control" - it's anti American): http://www.gunowners.org/a090903.htm

Reps: 33,304 (power: 48) | | | I think you are making something of a leap to assume God-fearing Americans are mutually gun supporters.
Frankly I am happy, guns serve one purpose: killing. I am not fond of killing
Besides the second amendment only assures gun rights in the interests of maintaining a standing militia. Seeing as I haven't seen any Minutemen training in my neighborhood lately I would have to say most people agree the Army is doing pretty well in that role.

Reps: 16 (power: 0) | | Revolutio, did you even read the rest of it?
They not only want to propagandize against the 2nd Amendment (which's the last mortal defense we have against tyranny, as our God-fearing ancestors learned the value of at a very dear price) - they want to promote insanity like kowtowing to the UN and ceding what's left of American sovereignty.
Being a Christian doesn't necessarily = being a pacifist, either. The part about "thou shalt not kill" is more accurately translated "thou shalt not murder". Even Jesus advocated that the Apostles carry a small kind of short sword used for self defense against robbers, et cetera when He sent them abroad. We're entitled to defend ourselves... at least until enough people are brainwashed into throwing away the 2nd Amendment.

I think this argument is funny. I mean, a handful of insane military folk could hypothetically hole-up in Cheyenne and nuke the bejesus out of the rest of the country. I mean, really, the days when we could defend ourselves from a tyrannical government with muskets are kinda over. |

If you believe this (that we're perfectly safe and, i.e. there's no chance of corrupt rule by the UN once we've been "globalized"), were I not saved, I'd ask if you wanted to buy a Bridge in Brooklyn.

Reps: 17,305 (power: 36) | | | Yeah, and look at all the people succesfully defended by militias exercizing their rights to bear arms…
- The hispanic families in Arizona whose adopted children were taken from them because Mexicans shouldn't raise white children.
- African Americans massacred at Rosewood (I think that was the name).
- Laborers striking at at Bisbee Arisona in WWI rounded up and held without charges in the middle of the desert.
- Every Civil Rights worker beaten or killed by various pro-segregationists.
- Every black man ever lynched.
…øh wait, no those are people who LOST their rights at the hands of gun-toting local militia. |

Wow. Just, wow. I mean, you created an argument on my behalf, ex nihilo. You are the Barry Bonds of strawman-building.
And I already own all the bridges in Brooklyn. Bought them from Bugs Bunny. |

There are not a hundred people in America who hate the Catholic Church. There are millions of people who hate what they wrongly believe to be the Catholic Church — which is, of course, quite a different thing. ~ Bishop Fulton Sheen |

although i didn't believe that day wasn't far off in the past, it makes me even more sure of its pending inevitability when i see the responses that were posted up on the first page of this topic. the majority of respondents were stating the obvious... "guns kill people". we know it has happened and will keep happening. so are you against the 2nd amendment, too? is the average american too incompetent to have the right to own a firearm? i believe this is where the left get separated from the right... |

Yikes. Guns are a means of entertainment, not death.
So guns keep population down how, if not by killing? So if you ask me, guns are our last right to be happy in a world of chaos and death.
Remind me not to ask you. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | | | |
