Earth was not only the first planet in existence, it was the first object in the universe that had mass.
The earth came first, then the universe was created around it.

Nothing amazing about that. Like Split Rock, every planet is unique in all the universe. Besides, it was for emotional effect, anyway.
All the planets are unique in their own way, but the earth is the only one that has life (as far as we can determine). That makes earth 'uniquer' than the others. Also, God separated the earth from the rest of the universe (see Gen 1:1) for a special purpose. What other astral body is God's 'footstool', or 'apple' of his eye?

Maybe other planets with intelligent life also have books which claim God created their planet in a special manner. How would you know?
