---please read through this before joining--- Several generations ago a war broke out that encompassed the entire earth. Various sorts of radiation were released into the atmosphere. As a result, babies were being born with certain mutations. These individuals had certain abilities unlike that of anyone unexposed to the radiation. However, these abilities were weak in all those affected unless the person used them and strengthened them. It was ordered that mutants not develop their abilities as it was labeled as a form of discrimination and was considered a hate crime to use their abilities in any manner whatsoever. This was the biggest mistake the government could have made. As a result, mutants with criminal intents developed their powers while those who may have used their abilities for good respected the law and didn’t develop their gifts. Police forces had their hands full trying to contain solitary mutants that pulled off small time crimes, but most of those criminals didn’t know how to develop their abilities enough to do much more harm than a non-mutated person. But now large networks of mutant gangs have started to develop. They teach each other how to develop their gifts to the maximum ability and work together to pull off major crimes with no fear of being captured by police. The government realized they had to do something and so they have implemented a special task unit, the mutant FBI. This unit is comprised of mutants hand selected by the FBI to be trained to increase their ability for the purpose of capturing mutant criminals. But before any mutant can be in this FBI unit, they first must go to school. They must attend Zaldet mFBI academy. Here they will go through training just like any other FBI agent as well as training to develop their powers. They come in hardly knowing how to turn on their power; they leave as a master of their gift. -- You, as a player, are a new recruit to this academy. (I may ask for people to join as bad guys, but not right now.) You have a special gift or power, but have not developed it and have spent years trying to repress the power. All recruits the FBI has chosen are citizens that are reported to have extraordinary gifts but have chosen to keep them undeveloped. Now the FBI has come to you and said they want you to develop your powers but only to work for them. You are expected to leave whatever life you have and move into the academy. Here you will receive intense training and will likely accompany full FBI agents as they investigate crimes that may require the assistance of mutant agents. Powers take time to develop; you will not suddenly have great control over your powers in the first few weeks of being at the school. This game will develop into a multi thread game if enough people join. As students develop their powers, they will be teamed up and sent on missions. These missions will be played out in separate threads. This thread will just be for action in the school or activity that is not related to a mission.

Reps: 1,443 (power: 6) | | | Agent Cameri skimmed over the files of the new recruits who should start arriving today. Mostly they were the typical files, model citizens with a clean record. Some were just out of high school while others were older. Then he decided to look at the part he hated, the report of their mutations. He grinded his teeth as he read over their powers. The FBI spun them in such a way that made them sound like asset instead of liability. 'Camouflage - ability to be indiscernible by sight, sound, smell, or heat detection. Asset to offensive team to gain close range of target.' Yeah right. How was he or anyone supposed to keep an eye on an agent like that to make sure he didn't step out of line? Agent Cameri shook his head and took a deep breath. He had known what he was getting into when he accepted this position, now he had better learn to accept it before he did something that would get him dismissed. Cameri sat back in his chair and waited for his secretary to bring the first recruit into his office.

Reps: 1,784 (power: 8) | | (( )) Kyler sat in the waiting room with a few othe mutated futer FBI agents, waiting for his name to be called. Kyler looked down at the photo id that they had taken. It was a small badge that said his name, age, and mutation. HE clipped the badge on his shirt and looked around. the room was quiet. Everyone was wondering what was going to happen next. Kyler never imagined himself in the FBI or any other official oranization. He still couldn't believe he was doing this now. The only reasone he was here was for the money. Kyler's father had recently been out of work for an injury, and Kyler wasn't sure if he was ever going to be able to work again. Kyler used to juggle two jobbs to pay for rent and food. It was hard for Kyler to keep a job, cause he was always dropping thing as they would fall right through his hands. Kyler never had dreams of being able to allend college or do anthing significant in his life. HIs family was just too poor. But this job paid more than Kyler could ever imagine. Now Kyler's father could buy a house and pay off his debt. "Philips, Kyler." the secretary called out. Kyler stood and walked over to the desk in the front of the room. "Agent CAmeri is ready to see you now. Walk though that door and tell him your name and age." "Thankyou," Kyler said meekly HE walked into the office and sat down across from agent Cameri. "Kyler Philips, 19 years old." he said just as the secretary had told him. |

Reps: 1,443 (power: 6) | | | Cameri watched the boy as he walked in and sat down. He looked a bit nervous, as he should be ... Cameri mentally shook his head while physically he just sat forward and glanced down at the file that was already open on his desk. This is just another student, like anyone else, he reminded himself. "Welcome Mr. Philips," he greeted looking back up at Kyler. "I hope you're not nervous. I know this all can be a little intimidating at first, but I'm just here to meet with you to tell you a little about how things will run around here. I'm Agent Cameri and I will be in charge of monitoring your progress and assigning you to missions. I'm the one to come to for any questions you may have." He then continued on to explain the daily schedule and the expectations that they had for each student to follow all the rules. "There will be a group tour later on," he said as he wrapped up his generic speech that he gave to all new recruits. "Right now most new recruits are gathering in the commons area to get to know each other. Do you have any questions for me? Anything at all, feel free to ask."

Reps: 1,784 (power: 8) | | | Kyler siad nothing as Agent Cameri explained what his life was now going ot be like. HE seemed very serious as he explained the rules. Sucha bigg change from Kyler's old simple life. Kyler didn't have any friends that he hung out with,he didn't have the time. he was not at all comfortable around other people, but now he was going to sharing a home wiwth strangers, most of them older than him. When agent Cameri asked if Kyler had any questions Kyler had a billoin, but he wasn't one to speek up. he just wanted to be by himself so all he asked was "Where is this commons area ?" |

Reps: 1,443 (power: 6) | | | Agent Cameri smiled. He knew this whole thing must be overwhelming. They hardly ever started up a new division like this, recruiting so many people from all over at one time. New recruits never seemed to ask questions, even though he was sure they had many. It didn't matter. The questions would come later at different times. There was a lot of work to do before any of these new agents went on their first missions but plenty of time to do it in. Even though there was lots of mutant crime activity out there right now, the FBI wanted to make sure these recruits were well prepared before sending them out.
"Take a left as you go out the door," Cameri answered. "All the way down the end of the hall. The door should be open and you'll see several other people gathered there. If you can't find it, ask anyone you see and they'll be happy to help you out."
Cameri stood up and extended his hand toward Kyler, "thank you for coming in."

Reps: 1,443 (power: 6) | | | Hope walked into the commons area. There were more people than she expected. Not that it was a huge crowd, it’s just she somehow thought there were very few mutants in the world. But if there were this many here … there must be a lot more in the rest of the world too.
She looked down at her badge. “Solidification.” It sounded so weird, she didn’t even know what it was exactly. She had almost asked Agent Reynold when he asked if she had any questions, but she decided that was probably not an appropriate question. Agent Reynold seemed nice enough, open and friendly, but then that was his job wasn’t it?
Hope looked around the room. Everyone else appeared to be as uncomfortable as she was. It reminded her of her whole freshmen year of college. She sighed and resigned to going over to the refreshment table even though she promised herself she wasn’t going to. Somehow a situation like this felt a little less uneasy with a cup of punch in your hand. For a split second she wondered if it was spiked. She chuckled to herself, “this is the FBI, remember?”

Reps: 3,775 (power: 11) | | | Austin Gray stood in the common area, leaning up against the wall. He had already talked to Agent Cameri. Rock control is what they had found his powers to be. Austin just shook his head. How was he supposed to learn to use these powers he didn’t even know he had? This was not going to be easy. And all of these agents walking around, treating every single person here like they were a kid. Austin took another look around the room. People of every color, size, and shape were in there. Not like the army, where personalities were discouraged. Here everyone was different. And differences always lead to problems. The room was for the most part quite. A few people talking in small whispers, but not much more then that.
