Reps: 1,039 (power: 16) | | | Man jailed for 176th time, a day after being released from prison early http://www.thedenverchannel.com/news...29/detail.html
A Boulder County man was back in familiar surroundings Friday -- the county jail.
Jeffrey Allan Pittman (pictured, left) was behind bars after allegedly stealing a woman's bags while she was sitting on the Boulder County Courthouse lawn along the Pearl Street Mall.
It is his 176th arrest, according to criminal records.
The alleged crime occurred the day after Pittman was given an early release from the county jail.
Pittman has a 20-year criminal history in Boulder and Longmont, 7NEWS reported.
His convictions range from indecent exposure and assault to theft and drunken driving.
Ok, maybe the habitual offender sentence is a good idea in some cases.

naah, 4-6 at the most. just take the index and middle finger of each hand like they used to do for poaching, if he carries on, take the thumbs.

This guy must be on a first name basis with the police, judge, and jail guards.
"Hey Fred, you're going to arrest me again?"
"Julie, your honour, I like what you've done with your hair. If love is a crime, I'm guilty and I throw myself on your tender mercy."
"Steve, the bars still don't get in the way of our card games, so let me win my money back."
The guy obviously doesn't try to avoid arrest and most of his crimes are probably very petty. |

Well, America and Saudia Arabia are 2 of the very very very few countries which can sentence an under-18 to death. Why not go all the way?
