I love the iceman and how much has been extrapolated from it. You could almost make a movie.
They made a semi-documentary movie a few years ago that found its way to cinema in Austria and Germany.

Kinda cool!
Obviously, he was killed during the Flood and then buried in ice during the lightning-fast Ice-Age that followed The Flood.

Oddly enough, I was reading this exact same piece of news a few days ago, although before this news about the scan came out, I think.
I think it's amazing to see just how much can be inferred from one body - and it's common sense stuff, too, not the parodied "ritual sacrifice! shamans!" stuff that you hear about. Interestingly, he was carrying two types of fungus, one of which known for antibacterial properties, suggesting they were probably practicing medicine of some kind.
As to the death being caused by an accident, if you do a bit more reading you find he had several wounds, his knife had the blood of another person on it, and the blood of four individuals was found here and there, suggesting he probably died as the result of a fight.
If he'd slipped and fallen on his own arrow (I'm not even sure how that would happen) I don't think it would like like his companion had pulled it out.

Psst, FSM is moderator taboo, now. Or blasphemy, even. Just a warning.
