What's the farthest back you've been able to go in your family tree? I won't make you give me sources, but let me know if it's mostly speculation, or if you're sure.
So far, I've gone back to the 1600's, and I'm pretty sure everything's correct. I still have a lot of work to do, though.
I'm pretty sure it's accurate - I have as far back as the 1580's - I didn't research it though, I had found this from someone else doing research in our family. It was amazing to see though.

early 1500s on my dad' side. I haven't been able to find much on my mum's side.
__________________ In the Garden, God sent his spirit down to dwell among man. Man and God had a relationship. Sin broke man away, and man made religion to try and get closer to God. When God saw that religion wasn't working to get this relationship back, he came back down, lived in a human body, died on the cross, and through the most miraculous feat in history, that man that God lived in, rose and defeated death. Now man can have that relationship with God again. Why would you want to revert back to gainless religion?
Relationship, not religion.

Early 1500's for me on my mum's side, and we are fairly certain it is accurate. I have collaborated with some relatives in England to make sure we are as accurate as possible.
Blessings to you all

On my Mom's side of the family, you can go back pretty far. I'm not a hundred percent sure because I hardly know a thing about that side of the family. On my dad's side, unfortunately, we can only go back to the early 1900's. The only person who knew any of the family history never talked about it and has long been dead. I did come across some names back from the 1500's who were Polish aristocrats during the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth but there is no way to confirm that they are distant family since there are no records.

"Even if we have thousands of acts of great virtue to our credit, our confidence in being heard must be based on God's mercy and His love for men. Even if we stand at the very summit of virtue, it is by mercy that we shall be saved."
- St. John Chrysostom
On my mother's side, back to Edward Culver who came to America in 1635 and from whom every Culver (or Colver) in America is descended. There are no Culvers in England as he adopted the last name when he arrived here.
On my father's side, definitely back to 1735 when our namesake settled in what is now West Virginia. We have fairly definite sources tracing our family back to the Roman Empire when our name was first adopted. Two Roman Catholic saints are in our family line and there is a church dedicated to one in Bavaria, I believe.
