I was looking in Revelation today and discovered a a peculiar thing... Antichrist is not used in Revelation anywhere... the term beast is used and false prophet is used... these two end up in the fake-o-fire in the end

THEN we have a first beast a second beast and an image of the beast that is to be worshiped...

What a theological conglomeration to unravel... I started to do so and a question rose up inside of me and this is the question...

As I know that we will not be here during this really tribulational time, why am I looking to see who these people are?

IF one was to not be "harpazoed" in the 6th seal opening and they survive the global tsunami and the survive the nuclear fallout and LIVE in,on or near the European Continent side of the planet, THEN I should be considering looking to investigate who these people might be.

BUT studying Revelation to figure out who the beast, the second beast, the image of the beast and the false prophet are, does not equate to "abiding" in my book...IMO of course.
Abide; meno,men'-o; a primary verb; to stay (in a given place, state, relation or expectancy) :- abide, continue, dwell, endure, be present, remain, stand, tarry (for), × thine own.

Anyhow, y'all have fun chasing down this and hopefully y'all are not neglecting to study, wash in the Word, widows and orphans in order to do this particular study... it's the Oil that will get us through this long night that we are in

The thing with Revelation is the confusion ,that was purposely set in Revelation to confuse the reading of Revelations .
Revelation is a seven dimensional look a signal event .It is set in a series of allegory's and symbolic language .Set in a numerical germ atria,an all meaning word of God.
It is a key that was given to mankind at a given time .This key was not meant to be opened untill the time is right.Rev. 22/18 is put there to deter anybody from anybody putting in their private opinion.
The Seven Thunders are tied together with an eighth thunder The Great Thunder ,as a sheath of wheat .

Rev.10 is now open The Key "Seven Thunders" Rev.10 has been solved.

I have a weird start, on this .Let me tell you how I got to study revelations .I was sound asleep, and I awoke with a clutter at the front of my house ,I just built this house ,well, about a month after it's completion .There were two birds,I thought scrambling in the peak of the house ,I thought ,caught and tangled ,trying to sort them self' out .Well,I got out of bed to see what the commotion was all about.When I got closer to them ,I could see they were not fighting ,one bird ,a great big pure white bird was protecting a little gray bird ,from some thing above .So after getting out of bed ,and ran down the stairs in front of the house ,to have a better look.There was a long black cloud over my house ,from horizon to horizon ,and I mean a black cloud ,It was cigar shape. Rumbling and scaring the little gray bird,The big white bird had it's wings opened as to comfort the gray.I yelled at my wife to come down and have a look .Scaring the you know what ,out of her. We were in bed still sleeping. Now a dream is just a dream right ?well About a year latter ,I get this letter in the mail ,from a minister from the south.he was telling me that he had some thing that only I would under stand ,Well I was probably some one trying to get donations ,I told my wife and just about threw if in the trash can ,but I thought I would just open it up and have a look first .Well to my surprise it was a page out of the bible with my dream on it.now ,that is weird don't you think?That is how I had this obsession to start studying Revelations.walt2000 This might turn you off, that is why I am telling you this now, so, I do not have to waste your time, if you think this is nuts.The answer to the dream was, that Christ was going to give me some thing ,in prophesy ,That a lot of people, mostly Christian ,my own Christian brothers and sister's.are going to give me trouble ,and have trouble to except.but Christ was protecting me.walt2000

when the Coming of the Lord is, it will not be pre trib or mid trib,
but after...post trib..

since ya think you'll be gone,
you won't even see the time of testing coming...
or know when you are right in it.

and you are not even going to be looking for any deception or deceptor at all,
'cause you think you'll be gone.

who is there any easier to deceive,
but those not looking for any deception,

the 6th seal is NOT Christ's Coming

Christ's Coming happens during the 7th seal, at the 7th trump.
When the 2 witnesses rise, that is Christ's Coming.
There is no other "before this" 2nd Coming, no stages, etc...
no 1st part of the 2nd Coming, lol.

they will have patience, and be "kept" safe in that time.

they will not worship the false one thinking he is Christ returned,
as the rest of the church will...the apostasy

and buddy, if your not even looking for the enemy,
as you say you are not,
it will be easy for him to come into your home (or mind)

I agree that we should do ALL that we are commanded to do...
not just study eschatology,

but we are to be watchman for the enemy,
who must come first to deceive you...

your line of thought says, "i don't have to even look at all for any deception, 'cause I'll be gone"

now, I don't even think the false one will be a man of flesh at all,
but instead an angelic man....
so as for pointing fingers at political leaders today, na, not for me...

however we are still to watch,
for a supernatural being
that will deceive the whole planet (save the elect)
