Oneofgod,
Your dream sounds fascinating, but I have to tell you that when I went to the link you posted, and read it, I grew very concerned. I am not speaking to the dream itself, but the homeless man's advice was alarmingly unbiblical. Horoscopes are not of God. I will be praying that the Lord gives you discernment. It sounds like your heart is in the right place, but it is easy for any of us to be deceived.

I firmly believe God speaks to us through all mediums. That coincedental tv show, interesting story in the paper. Maybe we are guided toward it, or it only makes sense to us. I eliminate nothing under God's power. Doesn't mean if something says to go jump off the bridge, I will. But I pay attention, and I keep an open mind. That's all. I mean, people say they have seen UFO's, but there are people who still don't believe them. What makes us right to judge the validity of thousands of people who've witnessed ufo's. But we still do.
My heart is in the right place. I sift through the info, and when something fits, I file it under "further review".

Do you believe that we have an enemy who wants to deceive us? Go back to Genesis and see how he deceived Eve. He is also speaking to us.

So that's exactly what I did. I took him home, did his laundry, fed him some hot tuna helper, and let him take a shower. We then started to talk. Well, he stayed out my house, in an old motorhome I had stored out back. The story is long and complicated, so I will give you this link

Anyways, this has been about 18 months ago, and I'm still figuring it out. I know it was important, because it's simply too coincedental, to be in the spirit like I never have before, then have this fantastic dream, then pick up a homeless man who says He is the last prophet.

So, that's my bizarre story. People look at me like I'm nuts when I tell this story. My life has obviously changed. I still go to work, and take care of my family, but my thoughts are always on God.

I'm completely humbled by my experience. I don't want to underestimate the potential importance of it, so I'm putting it out to you folks to discuss what this may mean. Thanks.
Here are some quotes from your web site:

1. He had a message. It was that the time for the prophecy in Revelation is passed. It didn't happen, and we are in new territory.

What you are saying here is that the bible was wrong, Revelation did not occour, and this man is bringing a new revelation. Here is what the bible says:

Gal 1:8-9
(8) But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
(9) As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

2Pe 2:1-2
(1) But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
(2) And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

2.He said the only true sin is suicide, or self-destruction.

Here is what the bible says:

1 John 1:7-8
7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin .
8 If we say that we have no sin , we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
KJV

This is what Jesus said to the woman that was caught in the act of adultery:

John 8:11
11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.
KJV

Jesus said this to a man that was crippled after He healed him:

John 5:14
14 Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.
KJV

If you have read any of the bible at all, you can see that there are many forms of sin.

Rom 14:23
(23) And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

3.The more I search, the more I believe in Bill, and God
John 14:1
14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God , believe also in me.
KJV

4. By the way, Bill said Mary Magdalene was the mother of Jesus.

First, Mary Magdalen:

Mark 16:99 Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene , out of whom he had cast seven devils.
KJV

Next, Mary, mother of Jesus:

Luke 1:26-38
26 And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,
27 To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary.
28 And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.
29 And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.
30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.
31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb , and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.
32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.
34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?
35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
36 And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren.
37 For with God nothing shall be impossible.
38 And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.
KJV

Jesus mother was highly favored by the Lord to bring forth the Messiah into the world. She was not demon possessed. Your teacher, though he may truly believe what he is preaching is a false teacher, and a false prophet. Beleive in Jesus and believe in God. Hold the teachings of this false teacher up to the light of the bible and pray to the one true God to reveal truth to you. Any man can have a relationship with God. No man can claim the right singularly.

Yes, great post livingword. I have questioned this from day one until now. What I do know is it happened. And it was right after the dream. He told me the dream was my doing. I disagree with him on this. But he did have many good messages too. So, I'm left, sure of my dream, and not understanding the visit from this man. I actually went against some of what he had to say. But I found the truth in other people too. So, maybe Bill was a test. If this is true, then my dreams have to be the real thing. I continue to look for answers. Thanks for your insightful post.

So, here's the point of this thread.

If Bill, the homeless man, was sent to throw me off path, then the dreams are real and I should prepare for upcoming events. This would also be considered prophecy, and would make me a prophet.

If Bill was right, then I should be taking all the information he had and working more on it. Such things as cure for cancer, aids, global warming, famine in Africa, etc. Why would he say he's the last prophet. Of what importance is that. And what about the number 22. I associate that with Bill and it shows up all over, in interesting places. Bill said the first two dreams were not from God, but when I told him about the one the night before he showed, he just smiled.
That would make me a good samaritan, and I helped a man of God.

If all of this is just a coincidental set of bizarre and wonderful events, then I should just continue with my life, and ignore what's in my heart.

What would you do?

These are not the only 2 options. Bill is definitely a false prophet, just based on the little bit I have heard of his teachings, but this does not mean that the dreams had any relevance. The Holy Spirit is the cure for cancer, aids global warming, famine, etc. I have not read the thread very well, but I have read, I think, that you believe that in your dream, the diamonds you dropped in the ring of fire set people free from hell. There is only one thing that can set people free from the road to hell, and that is Jesus Christ.

Why would he say he's the last prophet. Of what importance is that. And what about the number 22. I associate that with Bill and it shows up all over, in interesting places. Again, Bill may or may not have been a good man who believed what he was teaching you, but that doesn't change the fact that it does not agree with the bible, and that makes him a false teacher, and not a man of God.

If all of this is just a coincidental set of bizarre and wonderful events, then I should just continue with my life, and ignore what's in my heart.

What would you do?
Keep reading your bible, and seeking Gods revelation of truth. Seek the face of Jesus Christ and settle for nothing less than Him.
