A Dream From God?

Amen, good post livingword. We have to try all spirits to see if they are of God or seducing spirits on a mission to deceive. We do that by matching what they say to what the Word of God says and see if it aligns.

We need to do this------>1 John 4:1
"Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world."

To avoid this ------->1 Tim 4:1
"Now the Spirit speaks expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;"

Again, Bill may or may not have been a good man who believed what he was teaching you, but that doesn't change the fact that it does not agree with the bible, and that makes him a false teacher, and not a man of God.

Keep reading your bible, and seeking Gods revelation of truth. Seek the face of Jesus Christ and settle for nothing less than Him.

This is a comparison of Bill to the Shroud of Turin. The similarities are remarkable. Note the cheek areas, length and shape of nose, etc.
Bill liked that hat he was wearing, because it had a Ram on it.

While your looking at that picture, take a good look at his left eye in the far left picture. This was his love for mankind look.

You are saddening me. It almost seems like you're a different person right now. In John 7:24, we are told to judge with righteous judgment. About Mary Magdalene:

Why would it mention Jesus' mother twice? I'm not trying to condemn you. I'm not judging you unrighteously. I am trying to help you.

I will explain some other stuff. satan is not a man and was never a man. He was a fallen angel and he is going to be locked up for all eternity. This is in the Bible. We are to have faith, but also know God's Word. If we don't know His Word, then how are we to know when we are being deceived. There is nothing wrong with posting scripture. It is God's Word and we are to learn from it.

Jesus will not be returning to earth to walk around as a homeless man or any other kind of man. He will be Jesus Christ when He returns, and there won't be any question about who he is.

Luk 17:24

Actually the nose on the shroud is long and narrow, while Bill's is short and wide. The face on the shroud is also long and narrow while Bill's face is wider. Not that it really matters anyway, because his teachings do not line up with the Word of God, so even if he did look just like him, it still wouldn't make him Jesus. Frankly though, the only similarity that I see is that they both have beards.

Now, about Satan. Satan answers to God. Review Job if you don't believe me. If Satan is a fallen angle, as suggested in Genesis, then doesn't he fall under God's law. Satan exists to punish those who turn from God, and to help God test man.

Again, review Job if you don't believe me. Satan, is the punisher. Man comes up with evil schemes, not from Satan, but from not doing God's will. However, Satan's power is very strong, I believe.

Satan's power is in fear. I follow God, so Satan has no power over me, because I am protected by Jesus. So I really don't know much about Satan, except for what the Bible says, which is not a whole lot.

Now Jesus dealt with demons quite a bit. So they are obviously everywhere. And they can be tricky. But again, I put on God's armor.
Watch the movie Constantine for a good depiction of demons and hell and all that stuff.

Wait, your not going to tell me I can't watch movies now are you? People love to put down horoscopes, movies, entertainment. Can't God affect all of these? Oh but there will be someone arguing about that.

About the "return" of Jesus. Jesus is already here. He's been here since the beginning of time. He is in the bible many times under other names. People don't recognize Him. Just like Mary didn't upon His return. Just like Peter didn't. He changes His appearance, and name.

Heck, he might be the gas station attendant. He does what He wants, you know.

And if you don't think Jesus wouldn't come back as a homeless person, I suggest you re-study His teaching. People are looking for His glorious reappearance. How do they get this from "I will come as a thief in the night"? Jesus will reveal His glory when He brings the New City.

Now, for the shroud comparison. Bill's head is tilted back. The shroud image has relaxed facial muscles. I've studied this for at least a year now, there are plenty of similarities. But it's just a coincedence, right?

Now, for those of you who want to try and make me into some kind of guy who doesn't follow God's word, I ask you this;

How many of you have picked up a homeless person, and taken them to your home for a shower and a hot meal?

Isn't this what Jesus taught?

And then there are the dreams. The reason I started this thread.

I noticed also that there was virtually no similarity, and like you said not that it matters. Jesus didn't say that He would continue to make appearances anyway. We were told that we may entertain angels unaware, but they would NEVER speak contrary to God's Word.

The only way that could happen is if they were angels of darkness, appearing as "angels of light."

The only purpose being, to deceive who they can.

Mary Magdalene was a follower of Christ, she was not the Mother of Christ, the wife of Joseph.

Mary Magdalene was the lady whom Christ cast seven demons out of. And she was a devoted disciple or follower of Christ from that point on.

Luke 8:2 "And certain women, which had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities, Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven devils,"

Mark 16:9 Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.

added: I have taken in the homeless gave them a shower, a meal and new underwear. But I never worshiped them or studied the person for a year afterward and if any started preaching contrary to the Word of God, they would have been corrected or rebuked depending on their stance.

Ok. This is clearly a list of 4 people. If it were 2, with an explanation afterwards, there would be parentheses or some way to show this explanation. However, even if we want to play that game, and use your "theory", Jesus mother is the first one spoken about, then in the secondary description, the first one is Mary the wife of Cleophas. So even with your "theory", Mary Magdalene is not Jesus mother, but Mary the wife of Cleophas is.

There is a grain of truth in what you have written here, but the fact of them matter is {as I have pointed out before} That Satan is no longer in Gods grace and is indeed doomed to the lake of fire. Why do you not acknowledge this?

Athiests give to charity and help less fortunate people as well, but that does not mean that they are following Gods word. Over and over you ignore clear scriptural reproofs of your theory's and ideas, only to come back and try to put them forth again. Now, I submit this to you. On the website you posted, you said that before any of this occurred, you heard a voice that told you to read the bible.

Then all the rest of this stuff started to happen. It is clear to me that the Lord was trying to guide you to His Truth, His Word, because He knew all this stuff was coming towards you. Instead of using the bible as you baseline for truth, you have tried to insert the lies that have been directed towards you into the bible. These things you are fighting to hang onto are lies. Go back and read all the scripture that has been posted in response to your opinions and ideas. Pray and seek Gods teaching. Quit trying to make the bible fit your beliefs.
