A while ago, I was helping wash my step dad's car and all of a sudden I heard, "You will be hated." I've also had a dream that showed me that I would be prosecuted for teaching. I get minor things said to me online, but when I start doing it to people in person, it's going to get messy. I just pray for God's Wisdom, Discernment, and Protection through it all.
I believe this is of God. He surely speaks to people today as He did in the Bible... and as He does with other people right now.
There is another interpretation. This may be a warning not to be offensive when you speak. The New Testament charges us to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves. I feel led to advise you to seek the counsel of several mature Christians. They may see aspects of your personality or words that cause needless offense.
The Bible says let us suffer for the Gospel but not for wrongdoing. We will be persecuted enough when we do the right thing. Be prepared for it.
It's possible this is a lie formed by satan to scare you, but whethersatan formed it or not, in todays world i wouldn't doubt it.

i think the warning was of divine origin. donīt be scared though,
the glory that follows persecution is worth it ! just relax and take it as it comes, if you will walk with the lord, sooner or later people will turn away from you, oppose you, question you...
sometimes open hostility is better than the heartbreak of oposition in your own family. been through some stuff myself...
