Satan is a Christian character...you said it was all a scam
Why Satan and not another religion or atheism? But I won't be supporting christianity any longer. It is the organization of a false god bent on keeping people from experiencing true joy in life by guilt tripping them all the time.
Did you reach that conclusion because of clergy, because of the Bible, or from your personal experiences with god?

Nice to meet you all, and I hope to get to know you all better in the future

Reps: 19,550,139,574,747 (power: 19,550,139,577) | | Hey guys, I've already made some posts in the Exploring Christianity forum so thought I'd nose around here for a bit...
I'm RealityPixie, I'm an atheist, and ironically my name is actually Grace. I'm 20 years old and I live in the urban sprawl surrounding Perth, Western Australia, born to ten-pound-poms and eastern-european refugees. I joined these forums to gain insight into different ways of seeing the world. I currently study youth work, my goal is to work with young people affected by mental illness.
I'm somewhat of the alternative type....secular humanist, environmentalist, lover of all things psychedelic. One of my few vainities is my dreadlocks, I'm obsessed with keeping them neat, tidy and clean. I feel there is more to reality than how we humans currently perceive it, but do not seek to explain such things in a spiritual/supernatural/supersticious way. I have a huge interest in philosophy, religion, psychology and the nature of reality.
So....nice to meet you! |

Hello. I'm an Atheist from the UK who came here for 2 reasons:
One, to understand a bit more about a faith I so regularly end up debating against
Two, to remind myself that there are reasonable religious people on the internet. I meet too many nutters online... |

I'm Sarah....
Uhhh.
I used to get on here a lot for a few years, then I kinda left to concentrate on real life stuff (mostly my senior year and college). Things have calmed down a bit, but my insomnia is kicking back in so I may be around every so often to toss around my two cents. |

Hi there and welcome. Never really looked at the introduction thread before. Surely you can scrape together more than 2 cents....?
