So, this is our portion of the board for non-believers? I guess this is just where I fit in. More of the information is in the intros part and in my profile, so ask for anything else. I'm 18 years old, Theistic Satanist flip-flopping to atheism. For now, I've settled more towards atheism.
I'm Rannoch, a seeker. I believe in God, and that's about the extent of my certainty. I am not a Christian, but I do appreciate teachings of Jesus and occasionally read the Bible.

Just wanted to introduce myself and say hello. I go by Blue and I'm a practicing Neo-Pagan. Some of my favorite pursuits are philosophy, civilization and religion. So I'm very interested in discussing ideas and even more asking questions. This looks like a very friendly forum for this.
I'm really interested to see how here in the United States, with most of our populace identifying itself as Christian, we can have a good exchange of ideas with other religious traditions and non religious such as atheist or agnostic. What I'm really interested is how we talk to each other and set up laws and guidelines that are based on our moral and ethical beliefs, and how we can come to compromise and come to agreements. Its kind of a pet intellectual exercise of mine.

I believe in the validity of all faiths and religions and I do believe in God/Christ/Holy Spirit, but they are not all that I believe in.

Dear God,
Cancer is unbelievably hard on us ladies, but it must be 200 times harder on husbands/wives, partners, boy/girlfriends, parents and children as they witness us ladies fight against cancer. May our Dear Lord give them the strength, peace, bravery, grace, mercy and the light (understanding) as they watch our continuous fight? Help them have an easier time to remain on our sidelines and be strong enough to
Stand by us consistently, as we ladies need to rely on their love.
Please God, try to cease their guilt "what can I do? I feel so helpless for them" because that can be an unhealthy consumption of their mind & soul. Cancer or not, we still adore them. Cancer just happened & we can't turn back time, but gently lead our loved ones to get closer to us throughout our difficult ordeal. In the name of our Father, & Son, and Holy Spirit. Amen
