I dont understand why only six months! Until God points you in the direction of the man you feel you should marry, devote all your time to building up a relationship with God. I am single, and have about six guys friends who I am really close to.
I find them to be a huge support and always an encouragement. They are the first to tell me if I look gorgeous when we go out, and they give me hug when I am feeling sad.
Yes, they talk about sex, but I dont get sensitive about it, I want to enjoy sex later in life too!
The guys in my life move my heavy furniture when I need them without complaining, and in return I cook them regular roast dinners.
We celebrate our different genders...
Enjoy your friendships for what they are... if you find your friends to be offensive, maybe you need new friends...

I don' t think anyone here is trying to write men off. I think society as a whole definitely is though! The importance of the father and his role in the family is so downplayed in society, especially among social workers. it's getting better though (in social work) because us few conservatives are voicing our opinions. anyway, getting off topic. *yawns* |
