I tend to over buy Icons considering how much space I can use in the house for them. So I end up putting them just all over. My question is, are there any rules concerning where in the house an Icon should or should not be? Thanks in advance for any help.

They are not decoration, but Holy objects (after being blesssed) so one should not arrange them as decoration.
In general, place them on the Easternmost wall/corner in a room.
Do not put them in your bathroom.
