Chocolate part 2

Imagine you have just met somebody who has never tasted Chocolate, How would you describe the texture, the feeling on your tongue as it melts, could you convey how nice it is into words.
Wouldn't it be much easier if you had a bar with you, you could unwrap and actually let that person taste it for themselves.

How often do we as Christians try to explain the Love of God with just words, When we should be letting them taste God for themselves.

But How?

"Walk without blemish".
You will, of course, fail to live without blemish;
but failing is quite different from not even trying.
For those who believe in God, no explanation is necessary.
For those who do not believe in God, no explanation is possible.

Those who can, do. The rest have to talk about it.

If I can appear to a person to be head-over-heels in Love with God, then the person can feel my adoration of Jesus Christ. That loving energy is pulsing through my veins. Little smiles coming and going. I am almost ready to burst with warm excitement. Mmm, that warm chocolate just melting slowly in my mouth.

On the other hand, if I feel my Love of God inside of me, but there's no smile, and no energy, I will have to discuss that Love. My coolness disguises my Love. Well, you can't get blood out of a turnip. This is like the sneering man, walking around with a pocket-ful-of tracts. He has nothing showing outside except a look of non-Love. Then, he tries to convince others that he's full of God's Love. Uh huh.

My eyes tearing, how true this is. How imperfect I seem....now crying...how inadequate..I strive to help others with care and speak to them with hope, yet struggle in my own walk, hoping to be perfected in love.
Reaching to be refreshed in His presence..aching..striving... O my soul, why art thou disquieted within me, hope thou in God...O lord help me return to my first love...

I look deeply into my soul.
I see my child-like view of the World.
There it is . . . my view -- my one-directed view of things -- but just one thing at a time ... then the next thing . . .
The rest of the world has vanished.
My whole world is focused on this one thing. Here it is, and I am thinking about it. Ha ha.

This is so intimate . . . quietly only being aware of this single thought.
This shines through all of the "stuff" -- and here I am -- just seeing THIS, right now.
That pristine purity . . . Jesus lives inside of me . . . right Here.

I need to keep remembering: Savor those golden moments . . . Hmm.
Hold on to my child-like clarity (and fun).

Then I savor my golden moments again, a few minutes later . . . Oh, boy.
Oh W0W. It was great to have 3 minutes of Kiddie time.
It's a Miracle from God. Thank you, Jesus.

I sprinkle-in a few Magic moments into my week -- the rest of time I remember that I felt that good for a while.
Then, during the week, I will take a restful minute, and re-Re-live those Magic moments: I am being truly alive.

Oh Jesus, smile a little bit on me today . . . I'll smile a little bit too.
