Several years ago, just up the street from where I used to live in Brownsville, Texas, three very young children were decapitated, with knifes while still alive, by their parents. I have not fully recovered from this experience. My struggle is having the full assurance that they are now in heaven, being loved as they never were while on this earth, and with all the horrific memories of what they endured being erased from their memories.
What scriptures are there which show that the children are now loved in heaven, with no memoriy of their horrible death?
There are no such scriptures, Jesus teachings was very much related to how people needed to change their lives in order to reach heaven, and much less to what happens to you after you die.
People who had near death experiences say that , when a child gets killed, the soul returns to its previous state, as to it was before it was born.
The memory then remains, but the horrible feeling gets erased and healed by the amazing powers of God, they also say its different for child souls, compared to adults.
I can't think of any scripture that addresses it directly, but I believe we can rely on God's love being far greater than ours. As such, I believe God takes care of these children, removes all horrible memories and comforts them as only our Creator can.
I once read about a similar case where a child had suffered terribly. It disturbed me, as this case has disturbed you, and suddenly I got this feeling the child was all right, that I didn't have to worry about it. I can't explain it, but I believe it was God who showed it to me. I will pray that He will show it to you as well.
The scripture does say that there will be no tears in heaven. I can't imagine that it would be true if these children remembered what had happened to them. More likely they rest in Jesus' arms, wrapped in his love.

Reason: hi jacking your mod hat, so i don't have to make another... lol *dee runs and hides*
I heard a story once of this little girl who had a near death expirience. According to it they met this baby who told them about how they died. Still, they seemed to be happy.
I wish I had more I could say to help you, but that's the only stuff I've got. You'll be in my prayers.
I am sorry to hear of you witnessing such an experience as you described. One of my friends who has had a number of trips out to South Africa once witnessed a man having his throat slit as his car was robbed from under him. Yes.. just a car - it defies belief.
Such grief through witnessing such awful evil can often be hard to bear. I believe that for Christians it is likely to be even harder than non-believers, as we tend to be more sensitive and think about things more deeply. We tend to be compassionate and caring, even us men; that is not being effeminate, it is just thinking about the well being of others as Christ world wish us to do. But such grief is a bitter companion. No matter how painful your feelings, remember that all those children will be heading to heaven.
Mark 10 v 14 But when Jesus saw this, He was indignant and said to them, "Permit the children to come to Me; do not hinder them; for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.
Revelation 21:4 says that in heaven, after the return of Jesus Christ, God 'will wipe away every tear from their eyes'.
'There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away'
Little wonder that the Lord Jesus Christ’s return is called 'the blessed hope'!

how horribly sad, parents yet . i have a hard time with stuff like this but i believe it all gets erased in heaven and all that remains is maybe their prayers for the ones that killed them.
