I don't understand any of this at all; I'm very confused and I see for sure now that I don't belong here if I'm going to be accused of comparing the mods to the Gestapo when I most certainly have done no such thing. You just think you're upset.

Now, to me that reads: You better read this quick because it's probably going to be deleted by a moderator soon.
If you don't believe you belong here, by all means, don't stay, but I get the feeling you at least in part, believe the moderators are to blame for the problems you see here.
Like I tell everyone else, if there are problems you see around here, you've got to bring them to our attention. If I don't know about it, I can't do anything about it. If you think people are "getting away with things" and haven't filed a report, than yes, they are getting away with things, and you're likewise responsible for it.
For the most part, Christian Forums works on an honor system. We expect everyone here to behave like adults, to post like adults, to treat everyone they interact with like adults. Obviously, sometimes that doesn't happen. However, there are a limited number of moderators, and literally a 1,000 plus posts go up each day. We can read them all. Therefore, we depend upon everyone else to report to us when things just aren't right. If you don't report it, oftentimes we can't act on it.
However, I think people here are insinuating that there is some sort of bias going on against select people. Coming from me, I don't see it. I try to be as honest, as fair and as level-headed as I can be. If you have a problem with me, I have no problem responding to criticisms, I have no problem referring you to the "higher ups" when you think I've fallen out of line. That I'm then accused of bias, when Christians accuse me of being biased towards the atheists, and the atheists accuse me of being biased towards the Christians, leaves me dumbfounded. Literally, speechless.
