Am I MEMBER yet?

Okay, maybe I have paid enough dues (POSTS) to be able to talk some lower level staffer because it is clear that I won't hear from the front office.
So, my question is, if I make a supporting contribution to CF, does it buy me blessings, POSTS, or just thank you very much? This site reminds me of the dark ages when kings and other royalty supposedly bought their way to heaven through the religious rules of the day.
Since when does the number of posts protect anyone from anyone else and who set these arbitrary rules. What are you folks afraid of?
I came to this site to get away from the secular pribble on most other sites only to find an exclusive club with so many rules that you are afraid to do or say anything for fear of getting the dreaded reminder " No No" or you haven't paid enough dues (POSTS) to have any credibility here yet.
Now, I am not your enemy, I seek friendship, I am not a shallow new Christian with thin skin, and I believe Jesus would agree with my frustration with a site which purposts to want to join all as one body. I have only been on this site for less than two hours and you have me hoping mad and stressed out!
My hobby is photography and I want to be able to post my pictures now! If you go to any reputable forum such as DPReview, you can post your work and have good dialog within minutes of joining. Maybe you should create a seperate section of this forum for nasty old fa_ts like me and restrict the other more tender members from viewing that portion of the exclusive site.
So, how about stepping up to the bar, so to speak, executive management and make contact with me personally?

I am sorry that you feel that way. The restrictions were put into place to stop people who register just to cause problems and post vulgar images (trust me, it does happen!). I know that it may seem like a lot of posts before being able to show your pictures but there are many different forums here where you can quickly increase your post count. For example, Recreation Room or Friendship Court have 'games' you can play which help to increase your post count
As for supporting the site, it gives you many features including blessings and removes the post restrictions for posting images and posting in the debate forums. There is more about site supporting and all the benifitshere. This is in no way compulsory though. Even if you don't support all features of the site should still be available to you.
