I love asking questions and answering them in there. You guys post links to your threads whenever they seem slow and I'll give you plenty to catch up on.

Oh, I couldn't even find it, that was like a year ago. You think it would bother them if I started a new one?

I have a $25 gift certificate to Amazon.com -- what should I get?

I have done so.

I love Amazon gift certificates! They are beyond a doubt my favorite species of Christmas presents, because they force me to spend money on myself (as I rarely do). If you like Lord of the Rings, Tolkien's progeny have just released a beautiful illustrated edition of The Children of Hurin- I slobber over it whenever I walk past the bookstore.

There are too many good options on Amazon...

I was at a Habitat for Humanity luncheon today and when we started eating, the two people nearest me were having a very interesting table conversation. It had to do, I think, with one of them discovering a dead fox on the other's property. The one who owned the property described how the fox had seemed sick earlier, and then she later heard a gunshot, so she figured someone had shot the fox. The other person argued that no, the fox couldn't have been shot today, because the body was too far decomposed for that. There was extensive CSI-type discussion trying to solve the mystery of this fox's demise. I didn't eat very much.

I've never received an Amazon gift certificate I think you should get something wonderful.

And yeah, I read it as eating the two people too at first. And I was wondering what sort of minister Mac was...
