When Paul saw the light of Jesus shining on him and realised who he was in relationship to whom he was persecuting he immediately fell down. As soon as God shows us our true condition, we fall. With every revelation He gives us in His word that divides spirit from soul, that part of the worldly self withers and dies. The impression from the revelation remains and what was once a thing of pride becomes filthy and evil. When we see it as God sees it we can only accept His judgement and His view of the matter as the correct view. Beneath the noblest goals we discover base and ugly motives and plans made for ourselves. Before Paul fell he had a plan for everything and was confident for everything. After exposure he was ashamed and dare not lift up his head. Scales have been on our eyes for years and when now we see by His light, the scales fall from our own eyes, then recieving our sight we arise and baptize the revelation into the death of Jesus, His comformity according to the revelation. Act 9:18
Romans 4:17 God... calleth those things which be not as though they were
Let's "name and claim" the healing of the soul and place our spirit wher it belongs with the Lord, building our new heavenly foundations and detaching from earthly things. Foundations that will stand firm in our walk with Jesus, being in the light as He is in the light that shines from God and reveals us to ourselves so that we can move from glory to glory. Having faith in the character of Him (that defines the Kingdom) which is the hope in the things yet unseen. In this world, living in the spirit, and yet not of the world.
God bless

Ambassadors for Christ in the Message of Reconciliation
"Our reasonable Service" As a nation of Priests Christ is our inheritance
Psalm 145:15-17
15 The eyes of all look expectantly to You, And You give them their food in due season. 16 You open Your hand And satisfy the desire of every living thing.
17 The LORD is righteous in all His ways, Gracious in all His works.
Psalm 45:4-5 4 And in Your majesty ride prosperously because of truth, humility, and righteousness; And Your right hand shall teach You awesome things. 5 Your arrows are sharp in the heart of the King’s enemies; The peoples fall under You.
Hebrews 10:20 20 by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh,
Where the rubber meets the road is in the revelations from God, the convictions of a condition existing within our flesh, our emotions and our will that are out of fellowship with Him and His Way. Knowing that God is revealing something of Himself are the places that God wants us to reconcile to Him. The actual chizel meets the stone when we allow Him to bring that part of us onto His wavelength ( as opposed to attempting to bring Him to our understanding of it)
God has made the Way for the world to return to Him with all our hearts and all our souls and all our strength. When Jesus redeemed us, He opened the door to be reconciled to God. He became the substitute for all of our debts. He justified the Way that brings us into the Father's holy Presence. And He brings us to glorification according to His likeness. While we are still in the world, the material and the physical aspects of our lives are being brought under the control of the spirituality within us as He reveals each area in turn and in their due season.
With such high esteem placed on us from Him in His love, He gives us the light we need and we respond with ricipricated love for Him. The light appeals appeals to our will to allow the change. Ricipricated love responds in submission to His will and that positive responce from us strengthens further responses and yeilds to more light coming in. When we yeild in love to convictions of being out of fellowship with God in certain areas, this will immediately bring us back into fellowship with Him. When light falls upon our pathway we lovingly respond to His revelation and we are on His wavelength again and not leaning on our own understanding.
Love flowing from the source always suggests obedience. When our will is impulsed by the love of God flowing thru us, we desire to please Him. Our desire then produces more light and the chizel has met the stone of our hearts and produced beautiful supple hearts of flesh, as God has promised us, and we become useful clay in the Potter's hand. As He works at awakening our spirit to move them higher and higher, as one in the Body of christ, so we will continue to fill the position of being faultless in His Presence.
Psalm 40:8 8 I delight to do Your will, O my God, And Your law is within my heart."
2 Corinthians 3:3 3 clearly you are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart.
Ezekiel 11:19 19 Then I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within them,[a] and take the stony heart out of their flesh, and give them a heart of flesh,
To live for christ produces right conduct, based on right motives. When we recognize that there is a true art to living; founded on a true concept and a true science of life, then He will supply His boundless grace to loose us from our boundless needs, while we fulfill the desire of His heart to have us reconciled to Him in oneness of spirit.

The High Priest had the Yes or No from God as part of their apparell. As priests the yes or no is to come from His people who He has made a nation of Priests. James says that our answer should be yae or nae and anything beyond that places us in danger of condemnation and judgement. The more correct child said no but went, while the one in the wrong said yes but went not.
1 Samuel 2:30
30 "Therefore the LORD, the God of Israel, declares: 'I promised that your house and your father's house would minister before me forever.' But now the LORD declares: 'Far be it from me! Those who honor me I will honor, but those who despise me will be disdained.
The Lord changed hieacrchy to Nazarite vow at the time of Samuel, prior to the people asking for a human kingship to rule over them, dispite the precautions and forewarnings of God. Nevertheless God complied by bringing in His Own King. The eternal will be a Kingdom of priests but the millinium will have kings and priests. The priests are of the heavenly kingdom while the kings will rule the nations.
1 Samuel 8:7
7 And the LORD told him: "Listen to all that the people are saying to you; it is not you they have rejected, but they have rejected me as their king.
By rejecting His Way, they rejected His means to a secure salvation. By rejecting the Way of Jesus the most to hope in is taking heaven by force (which is from the time of John the baptist) but that will only mean the second death needs to be overcome. Eclesiates says that the things done for vanity are done in vain. Better to come to God in your youth before the silver thread is broken.
"the people that do know their God shall be strong."

Daniel 11:32
Every believer understands that to know God is the highest and best form of knowledge; and this spiritual knowledge is a source of strength to the Christian. It strengthens his faith. Believers are constantly spoken of in the Scriptures as being persons who are enlightened and taught of the Lord; they are said to "have an unction from the Holy One,"and it is the Spirit’ peculiar office to lead them into all truth, and all this for the increase and the fostering of their faith. Knowledge strengthens love, as well as faith. Knowledge opens the door, and then through that door we see our Saviour. Or, to use another similitude, knowledge paints the portrait of Jesus, and when we see that portrait then we love him, we cannot love a Christ whom we do not know, at least, in some degree.
If we know but little of the excellences of Jesus, what he has done for us, and what he is doing now, we cannot love him much; but the more we know him, the more we shall love him. Knowledge also strengthens hope. How can we hope for a thing if we do not know of its existence? Hope may be the telescope, but till we receive instruction, our ignorance stands in the front of the glass, and we can see nothing whatever; knowledge removes the interposing object, and when we look through the bright optic glass we discern the glory to be revealed, and anticipate it with joyous confidence.
Knowledge supplies us reasons for patience. How shall we have patience unless we know something of the sympathy of Christ, and understand the good which is to come out of the correction which our heavenly Father sends us? Nor is there one single grace of the Christian which, under God, will not be fostered and brought to perfection by holy knowledge. How important, then, is it that we should grow not only in grace, but in the "knowledge"of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
John 14:6 "I am the Way". The race is best described as "Christ Himself". From Genesis 1-Revelations 22 there has been only one Way and that Way is Christ. Before we could actually see Christ, God used patterns of Christ to show the Way, the tabernacle being the most striking pattern of all, which is the temple of God, as are we.
We have gone from the sacrificial altar to the Holy of Holies, from the dead and lost to the enjoyment of new life, in the Presence of God. God's unique Way isn't distractions from rituals of old. The way is the new temple; Christ within. Therefore the race is run within.
Pick up the pace and change your walk into a run. Running with eyes on the goal, we shouldn't be distracted. Our walk has given us the time to look at our religious background, to see the strength of the buildings and the beauty of the temple. But now is the time to focus on Christ, work Him into our being, making Christ our standard and all of us a reproduction of this standard.
No more standing still or being distracted by the priesthood, the offerings, the temple. For soon they shall be no more. No more shrinking back and letting the enemy distract us from God's Way. Flee to the Holy of Holies where Jesus Christ has opened the Way for us and has Himself entered within.
I agree that Christ is the only way to base heavenly foundations on, and that the whole point of this thread gets missed when trying to tie it in to mainstream Christianity. One is for leading peeps to Christ while if you read the thread as well as scripture it says to leave it behind (laying on of hands, etc.) to be able to obey CHRIST in the Spirit. God doesn't change and if He wanted obedience form Adam and Eve He still wants it now. Knowing the bible is essential and not nowing it means never getting beyond it. The whole world can go off the path, but the path remains Jesus.

Salvation at the altar of Jesus' sacrifice is still outside the lavar of purification that leads to the priest's place of work and communion with God in the Holy places.
Salvation of the spirit of mankind is redeemed, awoken, given new life and the abilty to commune with God on the accepted substitution of the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross.
Salvation of the body will not be until we reach the appointed time yet to come.
But the salvation of the soul of mankind, which is the personality of each human, is undergoing the transformation from glory to glory as we grow more into the likeness of Jesus through the transforming of our minds, which is given to us as we sacrifice our old self to Him.
Daily we can come to Him as we recognize the revelation of our ways opposed to those of His. His grace allows us His mercy. Recognition of sins grants us the right to come to Him to confess those sins and recieve His mercy, freely given, just waiting to be recieved, as the prisoner awaits his pardon.
Please Lord, that we would all have the grace to know Your mercy
Romans 12 Christ Brings New Life
1Dear friends, God is good. So I beg you to offer your bodies to him as a living sacrifice, pure and pleasing. That's the most sensible way to serve God. 2Don't be like the people of this world, but let God change the way you think. Then you will know how to do everything that is good and pleasing to him.
3I realize how kind God has been to me, and so I tell each of you not to think you are better than you really are. Use good sense and measure yourself by the amount of faith that God has given you.
