John "Life on Mars" Simm revealed that he will be appearing in the new series of Dr Who as a character called Mr Saxon at some point towards the end of the series but would say no more.

I think I'd lose a bit of respect for Russel T. Davis if he did turn up as the Master. It's so obvious. But he will be playing this 'Mr Saxon', although who that is remains to be seen.
