Before I was born,my parents and grandparents were moving from Maine to North Carolina.Mom and Grammy were in one car,the van,and Dad and Grampy were in the moving truck. After a while of driving, some old man in rags got them to pull over and told them that they couldn't keep going. That there was a bridge up ahead that the moving truck wouldn't fit under;the top would get cut off and it will kill my Dad and Grampy.Mom and Dad didn't really know what to do,so the man said "Follow me,I know another way around."
He lead them out around the highway on a route that was shorter then the other one. They got back on the highway after thanking him. They never saw him again. They didn't even see his car drive off after he went back to it.Do you think he was an angel?

I don't know...
It's possible.

The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them.

Hello Father Rick, My name is Lorna, Im Catholic, Charismatic and Irish. I was just wondering, I have a friend who used to be a Priest in our Parish and he left the Priesthood about 10 years ago, not due to loss of faith or anything like that, he just felt after a lot of prayer and thought on the matter and guidance that he wasn't suited to the Priesthood. Afterwards he spent a bit of time with the monks to see if that was were God wanted him but that didn't suit him either.
So now he has left the Religious life and is a busdriver but I was wondering (Im not interested in him in that kind of way, Im just curious ) would he be allowed marry since he was a Priest and has now left?
God bless u,
Lorna

I would have to know the specific details, but as a general rule, if one has been granted a dispensation releasing them from their religious vows, then that dispensation would apply to all the vows, including celibacy.
FYI, even though he is no longer serving in a sarcedotal capacity, he is still, technically, a priest and can provide sacraments in an emergency situation (such as viaticum).

i have a close friend i was dating but she has been through a lot of trauma so it is hard for her to trust and believe positive. We still correspond frequently, but my question is this:
How do i support her and stay strong? Who might be able to give me Christian counsel privately on this matter?
As a born again believer, I believe scripture teaches that Jesus is our high priest and intercessor, now that He's in Heaven. As such, I'm not sure of our role on earth to intercede for other believers. (I'm not saying we don't pray for one another.)
I've always been sensitive... but lately it seems I feel, even endure, the same feelings a family member of mine is going through... without them communicating the situation to me personally.
I'm not sure what's happening. I've never dabbled in 'ESP', or psychic phenomina, but having this knowledge of my loved one, by taking on his emotional experiences perplexes me alittle. Sometimes, they could pass as my very own. When this happens, I pray that God gives me His mind on the situation, and both of us seem encouraged then.
I'd like some understanding on what's happening here. Is it me, the Holy Spirit, both? Does my response need to change?
I appreciate your response(s).
