I have stumbled across some really hectic threads, and have been incredibly saddened by what's going on in some of them. I love this thread, where edification and encouragement because of Jesus is so evident.
JCmyfriend, I gave my life to Jesus 8 years ago, and backslid twice. Both times back into the drug scene, while being a mother. I've been walking solidly with Jesus now for 4 years. It was very difficult coming back to my Lord, because of my guilt and shame, but, when i came to that place of total vulnerability, He reminded me of scripture, the Prodigal Son. JC, God called me, and I answered, I knew I was messed up and needed Him back in my life.
When I realised He was waiting for me with open arms, saw me coming from far and came to meet me, I wept. I couldn't stand before Him because of His forgiveness and so much love. I had such an intense hunger for Him, I almost devoured His word.
He is my provider, the Father to my children and my Husband. I cannot and will never leave Him again. Also remember, the covenant you made with Him, when you accepted Him as your Lord and Saviour, will never be broken. He keeps that covenant, even when you haven't. It's only when you denounce Him, or deny Him.
He's waiting for you with arms wide open. Go to Him, be vulnerable before our Lord, He will give you the comfort and the strength you need. His grace is MORE than sufficient. And also remember, that His power is made PERFECT in our weakness.
I pray that by the time you come back to this thread, you have done so.

I've been here on CF for a year now and I just found my way here. lately God has been tugging my heart about the lack of praying in my life. This has been a struggle for years and I don't like it. (that I lack it that is)

Hello  I'm very new to this (forums). I'm so glad to see others coming together at the foot of Jesus Christ. It is so encouraging when we see Christ working in the life of others & it's so refreshing to focus on Jesus Christ!
