Introducing my new username. Originally it was Citizen of the Kingdom-then livinforChrist-then MaidInHisImage-and now hawlak. My name has changed but my profile remains the same. I love change! That's what makes the characters and armour so much fun. A slight nuance in my feelings about my walk with God occasions a change and hawlak is the phonics spelling of an Arabiac word meaning "my walk,His Way" and hence the change of username. I would also like to take this moment to make amends with anyone I may have offended in the past, trusting the Spirit to refresh anew each morning. God bless your day, everyone!
Ahhh. This, this is what I was looking for when I joined CF. Can't think why I didn't visit this section before. . .
I don't want to discuss church practices or debate interpretations of Scripture (not that there's anything wrong with that)-- I just want to talk about Jesus with other people who love Him like I do.
So glad I found this. I'll be hanging around.
Wordgazer, you literally wrote my thoughts word for word.
Was already disillusioned, then saw a couple of section here at CF that made me run a mile - both from here and from Jesus. But this is exactly what I was looking for when I joined CF. Pure, simple, uncomplicated, honest-to-God love of our saviour and of our family in Him. That's how it should be. I'm sure of it.

If this thread is meant to reflect this thought... I found a great place to spend time... I've found no greater joy than 'walking His way'.
Blessings to all!
Hi, welcome. I would hope that all of edification forums reflect that, not just this thread. As one of the posts says, "we are the body, struggling to be as one" or something like that. God bless your walk in Him

... Looking forward to my time here.

Can the will at the same time make opposite choices? Can it choose the highest good of being as an ultimate end, and at the same time choose any other ultimate end, or make any choices whatever inconsistent with this ultimate choice?
