Reps: 9,598 (power: 32) | | | From Mearil to Zarkiara Plot: A group of elves travel from Mearil (the capital of Laurealda) to the general Zarkiara area/mountains, sent by Araran to investigate the rumors of orcs taking up residence in the ruins and darkness preading. The course of their travel will take them through Tasca, to Te'rithil (capital of Oialassė), follow the river to the base of the mountains...
IC:
--------------------------------------
Feilras arrived in Mearil a little after dawn, having traveled during the night. Drawn about him was a long cloak; but having no hood, his face was not hidden, and though a stranger in Mearil, he looked not unfriendy.
Having been told several others would meet him at Silassė (the Shining Leaf), Feilras made his way to the small inn. From there, they should leave as soon as possible to Te'rithil, where they would again join more traveling companions.
The inn, though small, was well furnished and had a house-like atmosphere. The inn itself was built near a large tree. Feilras entered and walked over to the innkeeper.
Feilras greeted the innkeeper, "Amanįrė*, good host. My name is Feilras; I am planning on meeting several friends here."
"Amanįrė, Feilras, I am Leacrė. I will tell inform them of your arrival; you will, I suppose, take a room?" the innkeeper inquired.
"Indeed. If you would be so kind..." The innkeeper led Feilras to a door in the back of the room, which led to a stairway up the back of the building. Built in an ancient tree that was beside the inn were many rooms. Leacrė took Feilras to one of these and, taking a small white key from inside his robe, handed it to Feilras, and bade him goodnight.
--------------------------------- * A greeting, literally translated it means "Blessed day!"

Reps: 1,971,904 (power: 1,995) | | | Lanirel just wanted to get a bit of a bite from the kitchen when Leacre, the innkeeper, informed him of the arrival of Feilras. The elf stayed at the kitchen and finished his supper before deciding to pay Feilras a visit. He was quite content with the current arrangement. He could repay the elves of Laurealda by going on this mission for them, and at the same time, he could get out of the forest without appearing to be rude and impolite. Thanking the cook, who laughed at his compliment on the excellent food, Lanirel headed out of the inn. He followed the stairs that wound around the giant tree trunk, and kept an eye out on the number of each room he past. Taking care not to wake any customers of the inn, Lanirel kept his footsteps unusually light.
He stopped before the room he was looking for, and knocked softly on the door twice.

"Amanįrė. May I ask for your name?"

Not that it is really that secretive, but Araran wants to keep a low profile regarding this matter. "I heard from Leacre that you're meeting some friends here, so i take the liberty to say a greeting, in case you're the person i'm waiting for," he finished, leaning back to observe the reaction of Feilras.

Reps: 9,598 (power: 32) | | | Silently, Feilras looked at Lanirel for a moment before answering.
"Indeed. I am glad you have come - you are the first to arrive. Come in, we have much to talk about, though I am still unsure if we should wait for the others before we discuss it or not. Either way, we can prepare without them."
Feilras closed the door behind them as they walked into the small room. The only sources of light was a candelabra hanging from the ceiling and a candle on a small table, which sat near in the far corner from the door.
Feilras sat down at the table and began to restring his bow, motioning Lanirel to sit in the chair across from him.

The silence stretched out, it may seemed long in the eye of a human, but to an elf, it had only been a short while. Having lived in the human world for a little while during his travels, Lanirel decided to speak up. It was obvious that his new companion was the silent type.
"There really isn't much to discuss about, except logistics and the possible route," Lanirel said, analysing the situation. "As long as we get to Zarkiara safely," he added, "May I have your name?"

Reps: 9,598 (power: 32) | | | "Raican*, I am Feilras. I think it would be wise to travel through the capital of Oialassė, Te'rithil. If we were seen, it would not be strange for a group of elves to travel there, and would raise no suspicion."
Feilras again became quiet, and bowed his head slightly, apparently pondering - but not for long; he looked up at Lanirel with a friendly smile. "And who are you?"
