Rachael is often the person on earth I dont want to hurt, she's helped me so much through stuff & I know it hurts her to see me like this. |

but one is a teacher, just like Moana. she was my english teacher in grade 8, she's my debating coach (has been for four years now) and was my history teacher last year. she's the most amazing, most dynamic woman i've ever known (for a wise quote from her, read my siggie  ), she's like, so awesome.]
and she means a lot to me, and knows about my cutting, and she never resents me for it. she's just so real, she doesn't beat around the bush, and treats me as grownup as i feel, and i respect her so much.
and the thought of her life (she hasn't got it easy) gives me strength to push forward.
and God. he is my LIFESAVER.
and my debating!!! it's my passion. lol.

(she is in my profile if you would like to look at her) I have her sitting on the pillow beside mine as you all know, the nights can be the worst. This little friend of mine gives me someone to hug and I can;t hurt myself with that cute litte eye peeking at me. It's enough to make me stop myself from SI-ing.
Sometimes I think God meant for me to have Moana. At the time I had no friends, so God gave me a little stuffed friend. I got around when I started SI-ing. Everyone thought she looked weird and no one bought her. She was left alone untill I saw her and decided that this one eyed vampire dolly was so cute I had to take her home. |

I don't have one except--if my husband ever found out that I cut it would kill him, so I keep them small and hidden in places where he never looks. But I feel like I have to. |

Reps: 14,341 (power: 21) | | | Hmm-- I have never considered this. I guess I have not developed an anti-cut routine.
I may self-mutilate only twice a year and the feeling comes on unexpectedly. When it comes I find myself facing the blade and preparing to perform the ritual (the same "ritual" each time).
I am aware that it is unhealthy and related to other, deeper issues but the feeling gives me an instant, momentary high (about 3-seconds) before an instant come-down crash where I feel I will vomit.
I think the meds I take, my relationship with Jesus (healing: body, mind, soul), and my great girlfriend all help to keep me away from the dangers of self-mutilation and on the middle, narrow path.
I have not cut in 6-weeks.
