People all believe in different things and this is what I believe in and I would not even consider that I was evolved from a lower species. No way. |

Given our genetic similarities with chimps, I'd say that is unavoidably true, at least partially. For being such close ancestors to primates, its rather odd that humans are the only species on Earth capable of comprehending their own mortality.
Why is it odd? Humans are a relatively recent offshoot. I see more validity in us being a special creation from God, then just another evolved form of primate.
A really old book does not a valid theory make. No other animal on Earth is like humans, yet we are select, in a world seemingly perfectly fitted for us.
How do you determine this? Food chain mumbo-jumbo? Foxes have no natural predator either. I see creation in everyday life - I don't see evolution.
Maybe you should take a long, hard look at genetics. You do yourself a disservice by relying on the Bible for your science. |

Created "in the image of God" means you represent Him, like an ambassador would represent a king, it doesn't mean you look like him, unless you think God is a human? People all believe in different things and this is what I believe in and I would not even consider that I was evolved from a lower species. No way.
Because that would hurt your over-inflated ego, "I'm not no stinkin' animal!"
Are animals really "lower"? I mean if you faced a bear unarmed what do you think would happen?

So what are Homo erectus and Homo habilis? God's mistakes? |

Wrong, other animals do understand death. Elephants for instance have death rituals. I see more validity in us being a special creation from God, then just another evolved form of primate. No other animal on Earth is like humans, yet we are select, in a world seemingly perfectly fitted for us. I see creation in everyday life - I don't see evolution.
You only think we're different because we're more intelligent, but really we are no better than other animals. Try facing a bear unarmed and see how much better you are than him. Our intelligence is our adaptation for survival.

Now I have an over-inflated ego? Oh I see now, just because I don't hold animals as having the same worth as humans I have an over-inflated ego.
I'm sorry I would never hold the worth of an animal and a human on the same plane.
Oh and the bear scenario. Frankly, I'll never ever see a bear where I live but I guarantee you I won't get hurt or slaughtered. |

Well why do you have a problem accepting that you're an animal? Oh and the bear scenario. Frankly, I'll never ever see a bear where I live but I guarantee you I won't get hurt or slaughtered.
Well if you do ever see one go over unarmed and tell it how worthless it is and see what happens.

If science wants to make a claim to be true, then they have to stand the word test. Their so called "truth" has to line up with God's divine truth that we find in our Bible. |

First response, I'm not an animal.
Secondly, I have the Holy Spirit with me and My Father God and the Lord Jesus Christ are watching over me. So I won't lose my life to some bear. |

God doesn't make mistakes and what you should ask is who made those names. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | | | |
