Thank you. I needed to hear this. There's something I need help on, but the reason why I haven't seen any progress is because I lacked in that very thing: faith.

Thanks for posting. You're very welcome, sister.  Just keep yourself immersed in the Word, especially that which applies to whatever problem you're having. Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ. (Romans 10:17, NIV) And watch what you take in through your eyes and ears, and what you meditate on. God didn't send His Son to pay for the forgiveness of your sin, and then decide He is going to require you to make installment payments. He only requires you to believe that the FULL PAYMENT was done, over 2000 yr. ago..........then you'll stop trying to make the installments on something you could never pay for anyway. The Good News is that you are debt free! |

I was just reminded earlier (on a completely different thread in another subforum) of something the Lord told me a number of years ago, when I was afraid to step out in faith on something that I was fairly sure He had told me to do. I was afraid I would make a mistake and hurt somebody. He told me not to be afraid. He was big enough to cover any mistakes I might make. It was a powerful word for me. |
