Just keep yourself immersed in the Word, especially that which applies to whatever problem you're having.
Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ. (Romans 10:17, NIV)
And watch what you take in through your eyes and ears, and what you meditate on. Some of the seemingly harmless secular TV programs and books can carry subtle messages that contradict the Word and will suck it right out of you, before it can build your faith.
Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.(Proverbs 4:23, NIV)
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. I was just reminded earlier (on a completely different thread in another subforum) of something the Lord told me a number of years ago, when I was afraid to step out in faith on something that I was fairly sure He had told me to do. I was afraid I would make a mistake and hurt somebody.
He told me not to be afraid. He was big enough to cover any mistakes I might make.
Or, have you been in a place where you were praying for healing and your symptoms worsened?
