Ok I am sorry to start another thread..but i just want to know the truth. i am still honestly confused...i Just need the help of others to see and understand what i read and things about healing
OK..first of..tell me if this is right:
We are healed..in fact we were healed 2000 years ago..at the cross...and we just have to recieved it..as we recieved forgiveness.
Its truth that we have healing in us..since we are healed
I just want to understand..i have read alot..so i confused myself alot..i for sure want to be well..and healed..and i honestly struggled with doubt..stupid human eyes..lol..
So for a while now. I consider myself while and healed..despite that I am still in stiffness and pain..i am considering myself healed.
what gets me..is like people say..healing is manifesting..but how..if they were already healed?..like i am sorry..lol.i am just telling you my doubts through this...but i just want clarity..there is alot of fog infront of my eyes.and ia m still coming out of alot of deception
but i want to know like..we are healed..what is point in for praying for healing..to be healed..when we already are..people like say..i want to be healed..but they are healed...so there should be no point in asking God..since its done..
or do we ask..just for it to manifest..i am sorry. i really am confused..like i know to speak healing promises over us..
I Just want to know.I know i am not suppose to know everything..but i sure want to have some understanding..as though I am healed...i want to be healed..if you know what I mean
Hi.... Amen... to needing help with healing!! Only God could do it anyway!! Rest in Him.. let all striving cease.. I have read books by great healers and even in their great Holy Spirit filled ministries some were not healed but in saying that many many many were..
We put our faith in His word.. we put our trust in Him.. and we praise Him.. we follow Him with all we are.. That is the most important thing.. In good and bad times!!
To Seek Him.. we just need Him.. I think if I just in my own neediness.. and I need healing too.. Help for difficult situations.. If I just look to Him.. His face.. believe... trust.. worship Him.. I will receive all I need.. God is sooooo good.. and even in lack.. I have hope..
I think the struggles are great.. they point us to Jesus the author and perfector of our faith.. Who is everything!! Yes yes yes.. Our healer.. Our helper.. Our friend.. Our Saviour.. Our defender..
Your seeking is a great thing.. because God promises those who seek will find!!!!

HoneyComb Son, I know EXACTLY where you're coming from. I've had all those questions and about a million more. The devil still tries to knock me off-track with a few of them from time to time.
It might help to remember that everything that exists in the natural, physical world--everything that you see, hear, taste, smell and touch (good or bad)--was FIRST created in the spiritual realm, through faith (whether faith in God or the devil), it then appeared/manifest in the natural realm.
God used His own faith to create the world in Genesis 1:
And God said, Let there be ...; and there was ...
This is still happening today. When we are born-again, we receive Jesus who comes to live inside us. At that point, we have the healing power of the Lord inside us, as well as THE measure of faith.
And if the Spirit of Him Who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, [then] He Who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also restore to life your mortal (short-lived, perishable) bodies through His Spirit Who dwells in you. (Romans 8:11, AMP)
Because the Holy Spirit lives inside of us, we can avail ourselves of His power, and His own faith, as long as we are following Him and obeying Him and not going off half-baked in our own direction, speaking words that disagree with the Word of God. If we are doing His will, under His direction, then we can do what He did as written in Romans 4:17 (New Living Translation):
That is what the Scriptures mean when God told him, “I have made you the father of many nations.” This happened because Abraham believed in the God who brings the dead back to life and who creates new things out of nothing.
We must be fully convinced that the Word of God trumps anything that we perceive with out natural senses. We must be fully persuaded that the Word is true, no matter WHAT it looks like or feels like in the natural. And believe me, I know first hand how very real those symptoms can be, and they are facts.
But if we hold fast to our confession that we are already healed by speaking out loud Isaiah 53:4-5 and 1 Peter 2:24 [by His stripes we are/were healed], the facts WILL change. They have no choice but to come into line with the Word and become the new facts.
Sometimes this will happen immediately and sometimes it takes time, because the devil never gives up until he is forced to (by our faith and steadfastness). But we must persevere in prayer, Word study and seeking the Lord with our whole heart in order to see and hold on to the manifestation.
And let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint. (Galatians 6:9, AMP)
One of the things that has helped me is the mental images I get when i think about how things are first spoken and believed, by faith, and those words combined with our faith, comprise the construction material that will build what we are desiring, like a blueprint of a dream house. I imagine the angels intently going to and fro, having been dispatched by our spoken words of faith, to bring the manifestation of our healing to us.
As for praying for healing ... it's more of a prayer of declaration/confession from God's Word. There is no negativity in it. It affirms that God is not a liar and we can count on Him.
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (Hebrews 11:6)
... I am alert and active, watching over My word to perform it. (Jeremiah 1:12b, AMP)
James 5:15 calls it the prayer of faith and just from that name, we know that it will have faith words that agree with God. The Lord loves it when we pray his Word back to Him.
We thank and praise Him for the healing that He provided through Jesus and how we already have it. This has a dual purpose. Not only does it really tick the devil off and chase him out, but our ears hear the words and it gets down into our spirits and builds it and encourages it. Let the Spirit lead you in what and how to pray.
I hope this helps. As looong as it is, it's just the tip of the iceberg.
I would like to recommend a most uplifting and complete book on healing that I know would encourage you. It is packed from cover to cover with the Word, so it is faith building. It's called Healing the Sick, by T.L. Osborn.
In the meantime, you hang in there and continue to believe/know you are already healed, because the Word says so, not because you feel good. And if you stumble and find yourself doubting, just catch yourself, confess your unbelief, repent of the doubt, tell the Lord you're getting back on HIS path and then continue walking.
Loads of praise and worship are very important. Keep CDs (music) going in the background as much as possible, including at night. It doesn't have to be loud. Your spirit and the devil have keen hearing. That helps change the atmosphere in your house, car, wherever you are.
When you're feeling really crappy, instead of focusing on the disease and the symptoms, launch into thanksgiving to the Lord for all the wonderful things He's already done for you, and be confident that He will do it again.

That's good news. Not only is its fruit delicious, but the tree sounds hardy, too.
i believe that...and speak positive confessions to body
God bless
That's great! Now, be sure to keep it up. The devil isn't going to roll over and give up until he knows you aren't going to budge.
Keep reading the Word and doing the Word and speaking the Word and keeping your tongue in check so you don't undo your words of faith by speaking what contradicts the Word. Stay ascloseasthis to the Lord.
Don't glorify the sickness/symptoms and its source (satan) by talking about how bad you feel, but glorify and thank the One who bore that sickness/those symptoms for you so that you don't have to.
thanks chowdermom..you have alot of clam chowder(blessings) you share
