Thubanus looked at his healed arm. "Oh yes, so you are right." He takes his arm back and starts toward the kitchen. "I guess I must be a fast healer. I think I know a good recipe for today. Prepare the table. I will cook." He stepped into the kitchen and began finding different ingredients.
After a while, he brought a pot out of the kitchen. It was rice mixed with chopped vegetables and pieces of what look like chicken. The smell is sweet, almost like that of an orange. He leaves then comes back with a loaf of bread. After placing these on the table, he sat across from Molly. "So, did your friend receive your message well?"

((sorry, I was busy for the past few days. I see you added to your last post. to tell you the truth, it made it easier for me! lol.)
Molly pondered. "I don't really know. I didn't actually see him, but I left it there for him. I hope he's not that worried about me. I've been away from them for some time. He's probably looking at it right now as we speak. It's almost night fall." She smiled and started eating. Swallowing the food, Molly said, "He's usually done hunting and things like that by now." She smiled.
Meanwhile...
Jurio was sniffing the note. "Molly's scent.....I don't get it."
One of the wolves walked up to the piece of paper and looked closely at it. "It looks like Molly's on the paper, Jurio. And what looks like a human with her. This could be dangerous, boss. He probably is holding her captive."
"You know what this means, don't you," Jurio faced the other wolves that were behind him, "it means that we must sniff him out and find this human. Keep him alive, he is mine. Is that clear." The other wolves had evil looks on their faces as drool dropped from their mouths.
"I will be waiting here. When you find him, Amelo will come to me. Wait for me and I will give the signal. Then we go on the attack." He said slamming his paw down on the ground. "Go!"
All the wolves left the cave on the hunt for the human. What they don't know is they got the wrong idea.

Thubanus nods. "I do hope he gets the message." He cuts a few pieces off of the loaf of bread. "Last thing we want is someone worrying about you." He takes a few mouthfuls. "Have you been studying your alphabet?"
Meanwhile, in the town...
The men of the Dancing Faun tavern snickered at the old man as he walked into the tavern. One of them stood up and pointed straight at him. "Hey Bill, do you see a dragon now?"
The old man stiffened. "I did see a dragon the other night," he replied. "I swears it. And I heard it bellow!"
"Ya sure it's not yer wife?" the younger man shot back, which caused the room to fill with laughter.
"I know what I saw, and I know what I heard," the old man said. "And it were a dragon. I also saw signs on the road. Burned patches on the ground. charred remains of men."
The room was now bursting with laughter. "QUIET!" a new voice bellowed above the din. Everyone fell quiet as a large ogre of a man sat back down again. He was sitting with a woman, small and demure. She was leaning into the shadows. "Come here, old man. Tell me of this dragon."
"Never mind him, miss," the younger man said. "He's just a local idiot."
"Idiot or not," the woman replied. Her tone was crisp and noble, and her accent spoke of a distant land. "A dragon is a serious matter."
"Beggin' your pardon, maam," the young man said. "There ain't been dragons in these parts for a long time. Besides, old Bill here's the only one who's seen 'em."
The woman produced a coin from her purse and placed it onto the table. "Tell me about this dragon, Bill."
The young man gaffawed. "Yer as crazy as Bill is!" With more laughter, he sat down again with his friends. Bill looked around and approached the table.
"I sure have." She said, "A through.....um......I'm still working on it." She was embarrassed and blushing.
Meanwhile in the forest...
"Found anything." Amelo said to one of the wolves.
"Nothing. I lost her scent."
"Well, keep looking. I'll go look elsewhere."
"Yes, sir." Five of them went back to look while Amelo snuck into town. He crept slowly looking around so no one would notice him. He suddenly reached the tavern window and peered inside. His ears were down. Inside he saw an old man and woman. They were talking about a dragon seen nearby.
"This looks interesting." He said laughing quietly, licking his chaps and drool coming out of his mouth.
"Amelo, what are you do-" The same wolf came up behind him, but before he could finish his sentence, Amelo covered the wolf's mouth with his paw.
"Quiet!" He hissed. "Do you want them to know were here." he wispered.
"Were not suppose to be in town. You know what happened last time."
"That doesn't matter now. Just listen." They both looked inside the window to hear what they had to say.

After dinner, Thubanus stands. "I will prepare the lesson for tonight." He leaves the dining room to the study and begans browsing through some of the books on the bookshelf.
*Meanwhile, in the town...*
Bill approached the table cautiously. The ogre pushed a chair out for him. He sat. The woman leaned forward. "Tell me about this dragon."
Bill coughed into his hand. "I don't know much about it. I saw the burned patches, the footprints, and I saw a great shadow pass in front of the moon the other night."
"What did the footprints look like?" she asked. Her dark eyes seemed empty, but they drew him in, in an almost hypnotic way. Bill felt a strange sick feeling swell over him. He resisted the urge to sick up, barely.
"They was big," Bill told her. "With three fingers in the front, and a claw in the back."
The ogre grinned. "Sounds like a dragon," he said.
"Tell me one more thing, Bill," the woman said. The sickness in Bill's gut got worse. What was it that was making him feel so sick? "Are there any churches or libraries in this town?"
What a question to ask! Libraries in Sal Kededin! "Yes, of course," he told her.
"Go to the library then," she told him, giving a slight wave of her fingers. To his surprise, his body rose and started walking toward the door. "I think we found him," the woman whispered to her ogre companion as he did so. "The Master will be pleased."
"That must be where Molly is," The wolf looked at Amelo, "I'll go warn Boss and you can fallow the human to the library." The wolf ran off and Amelo licked his chaps to get rid of the slobber.
"Hehehe...perfect."
Amelo got down on all fours from the window and followed the man out the city.
"Boss! I think we have something!" The wolf ran up to Jurio and some of the other wolves in a part of the forest.
"Where's Amelo?"
"Uh...I..." "I said where is he?!" Jurio snapped. The others flinched back a little.
"He followed a human to a library where Molly might be, sir." Jurio growled loudly.
"Alright then, tell me the direction and gather the others!"
"Yes sir!" He pointed in the direction to the human and Jurio lead the others there. Then a long and loud howl filled the forest and the wolves all gathered to meet Amelo and the others to follow the human to the library.

When Bill got outside the tavern, he stopped. In a city like Sal Kededin, which was known for scholars, there was more than one library. He could go to the main library at the center of the city, but the scholars there would not let the likes of him even enter their halls. There was also the commoner's library on the other side of the city that he could go to, if you could really call it that. There was also the Collegia district, which had two smaller libraries, but they would not be open at this time of night. Which one? He then remembered one library where he might be welcome... a new place that was more of an inn for weary travelers, but had enough books to be called a scholarly library.
He decided to venture toward that one, though it was an hour walk out of town, alongside the forest. He shuddered as a wolf's howl went up through the night. "Maybe I should stay in town after all."
"We are going," said a deep voice from behind him. He looked up at the large ogre, who was now standing behind him. "Take us to the library."
"Where is the woman?"
"She will come in her own way," the ogre replied. He gave the old man a shove. "Move!"

Thubanus started a fire in the hearth then sat in his favorite chair beside the fire. He then opened the book in front of him. After a moment, he turned the page, not looking up. "How long will you lurk in shadowed corners instead of coming into the light?"
