remarriage and sex

hi me and my fiance are both saved and recently divorced. we live together in the same house but seperate bedrooms and are trying to keep pure until we remarry in feb. my question is, is there any biblical reference to people who have married before having to adstain from sex before marriage. my thoughts are we aren't virgins anymore, we were both previously married, we both want to spend our lives together and know that god brought us together and we are meant to be.

now that being said the bible only talks about men and women who have never been married before and are still virgins as far as i know of. if any can give any advice or if any pastors out there can help out on this subject it would be of great help.

The bible says that the marriage bed is undefiled(heb13:4). The only sex God approves of is in marriage, period.
The bible also says to abstain from all appearance of evil(1thess5:22)-You are living together in the same house without being married and tempting each other to sin.
I feel for the both of you, divorce is painful and heartbreaking. My advice would be that the both of you talk to a pastor, one of you moves out, and abstain from sex until marriage.

My advice would be to get married right away at the courthouse and then have the wedding ceremony in February.

Just wait. You can do it. You're gonna have your whole life together to catch up and it will make it that much more special. (waiting is a wonderful way to demonstrate your love for eachother) My thoughts were the same as yours as far as Bible verses, so refer to the ones above that our friend Jessica Antonio mentioned.
