Today, I am thanking God for strength given to stand up and speak when I saw something vile, an affront to You, Lord. I thank You for giving me the words to use and for protecting me from the retaliation. Thank you, Lord, for showing me I want to please You, not people. That's not something we can know until tested. Thank You.

Lord, I don't know who is sending me all the blessings and gifts and I thank You for filling that person or those people with such loving generosity.
I feel guilty, like I've somehow misled someone into thinking am worthy of a single blessing, let alone the thousands have received. Lord, I ask you to bless that person or those people. Their giving it anonymously shows they are doing it because they have a giving heart not because they want acknowledgement. If more of us were like that, your body would be even more beautiful than it is.
Lord, I also ask you to bless every one of Your children - whether we are that loving or not.

Lord, thank You for putting that person in my path. I know it's through experiencing things like that I learn to have faith in You, not people. Thank You for giving me the grace to love them despite their actions.
Lord, I have never met another Christian so mean, and I thank You for allowing me to see that "Christianity" is just a word - it's salvation in Your name that counts; it's love and forgiveness and integrity that count.
Lord, I thank You for using that person to challenge me, and I thank You for allowing me to retreat when I couldn't cope any more. Lord, I ask that You bless him and soften his heart so that he'll know Your love fully.

Lord, I wanted to write more about that person cos it's sitting in my tummy like a stone and it's making me so sad. Deep down somewhere, I can feel that I'm angry with him and I'm worried that's hurting You.
I wanted this blog to be solely about praising You, but I need to ask something of You. Please make me into the person You always wanted me to be. I know that as much as I feel I've submitted myself to You, part of me is still resistant. Am so sorry.
I trust You and I love You so much, and am so sorry I'm still so rubbishy. Cos also, part of me feels like a "victim" of his behaviour and that's just nonsense. Am not a victim. Am wholly blessed - I do know that, and am so grateful for it. Please help me shrug of the nonsense.
We are told to expect persecution - am just shocked it could happen from someone within the Christian family. It hurts quite a lot, but then I think of what You went through on my behalf and I realise this is all inconsequential. So please, Lord, cleanse me of the anger and the victim mentality so that I can focus solely on You.
Lord, that You would love a sinner as flawed as me is still something I can't logically comprehend, but thank You. I can never thank You enough. In Paradise, I will bring You a wild-flower every day for all of eternity.
