Reps: 10 (power: 0) | | | Problem-Solving: Israelite vs Palestinian Conflict What's your best solution?
Here's mine:
1. merge both countries into one nation with judges or one leader.
2. rules of brotherhood or friendship.
3. just pay money exchange for territory or give another land in antartica.
4. address local happiness (like band shows) that could erase the problem.
5. freedom and respect of religion
6. talks that have common ideas or suggestion that will keep them from fighting.
7. let them work something else (or another problem that will make them go nuts without killing) instead of quarrels.
8. brain-wash them to be friendly to each other.
9. don't think only of yourselves |

Reps: 17 (power: 0) | | | No solution. One day, though, they might realize the economic potential for third-world palestine and first-world Israel to benefit from each other instead of blowing each other to bits.
I say "might", because I do not have high hopes for this to happen, as there are powerful lobbies in both countries for whom a state of war is much more tempting. |

Reps: 32,903 (power: 50) | | | Thanks Angel. This is where this belongs. Back to the OP. I don't think that there will ever be a lasting peace in Israel. Not because people on both sides don't desire it. But, because too many people desire Israel and the Jews to be wiped off the face of the earth. Until those people stop blaming Israel for their problems and take responsibility for their own lives and stop killing as many Israeli's as they can, there is not even going to be a semi temporary peace. |

Reps: 20 (power: 0) | | | Palestine has to reform its internal security apparatus and put an end to attacks against Israelis; Israel has to cease committing human rights violations against Arabs, withdraw from the occupied territories, and remove all Israeli-sanctioned settlements in the occupied territories.
Other nations have roles to play as well. Arab countries have to stop supporting, materially and financially, the Palestinian terrorist groups. The US has to cut its military aid to Israel by at least 1/3, preferably 1/2 or more. Economic aid to both Israel and Palestine will be eliminated once they are ready to become economically self sufficient.
Eventually the Isr/Pal border will have to be reopened so that labor and commerce can move freely back and forth, a Palestinian state having been established with both countries recognizing the other's right to exist. Then, I think, we will see true and lasting peace in that region. |

Restitution paid to Palistinean families by the nations who supported thier displacement. All of them need to be taught to love instead of hate, to vote instead of shoot, to understand the horror thier brothers have been facing.
