Remember:
1) the Law was given for our benefit
2) Christ fulfilled the Law
3) The Church is a continuation of Israel ("New Israel") and not a distinct and seperate body.

I study Torah right along with the rest of Scripture and do my best to learn the lessons God would have me learn, but clearly some of the details have particular relevance to a specific time and place.
