Did not become an angel though if he did turn to Jesus the last moment, that would have been a huge betrayal to his people, he would not have done that. He simply did NOT know Christ, but hoped to teach his people to follow one God, though without Christ, what we have today is Muhammad's best. I do hope you know his Judgement will be passed by Christ.
