OT: Made in Max

Made this in 3DS Max for my DT180 class (a 3ds max class) final project.

The main is done, now I just have to make an animation with it:







Here's a "painted" version:



In case you haven't guessed, it's the Republic Assault Ship from Star Wars Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith, a.k.a. an Acclamator class Star Destroyer.

(This is a slightly modified version of course...)

Hey thats cool. what era is it in?

That class of ship lasted even into the Galactic civil war used by smaller imperial systems as a light defense frigate it had 2 wings of tie fighters and a wing of tie bombers i believe

Uh... no. I kind of gathered that by the post you wrote. I was wondering what you are going to do as far as the animation is concerned.

OH...duh

I'm not sure; I thought I was going to make it simply orbiting a planet, I found a good planet tutorial but the reference pics were unreadable so I guess I can't use that

I'm leaning toward just having it over a terrain and if I can find out how to do laser effects, I think I'll have it attacking some stations on the terrain (i.e., a plane with a noise modifier ).
