Let's keep praying for Australia..

Dear Father God I come to You through Jesus name.. The name that is above every other name!! Thank You for this day.. for our country.. our freedom!! Father thank You for religious freedom too!! Father God I give You praise for You alone are worth to receive praise and all our adoration!!
Father we need rain.. we need You to pour out rains upon our land of Australia.. please forgive us for neglecting to call on Your mighty name.. Father we err when our day is not committed to You and our lives and families continually in Your keeping... Father when we do not see You as our every answer.. Forgive us and help us in our time of need.. Father thank You that You will help Your people who cry out to You.. Father I pray for John Howard today and all those who lead our country and each state.. Father give them wisdom and guidance to make the right desisions... Father be with those who are out ministering the gospel in any way wherever that might be.. give them favor.. and protection from the evil one.. Father thank You for You are our God.. Our Saviour and our ever present help.. Lord help those today who are struggling with poverty and homelessness in our country.. Father for those who are ill and needy in any way.. Father let them know to call upon Your name.. Father help us as believers to let our lights so shine before men, women and children, that they see our good deeds and praise You in heaven.. I thank You for all that You continue to do for us.. I believe that You will send us rain.. thank You once again for the recent rains our city got and surrounding areas.. Halleujah.. amen

Thank you Lord for your grace and mercy that is new everyday. Thank you Lord we seek your face to pour rain over our dry land. I pray that more people will seek you to pray for this also. You know how desperate things are becoming with the water. Thank you that the glory will be to you when we receive the rain. You are our provider in all things Lord. King of Kings Lord of Lords. heavenly father may i ask you to soften peoples heart, to overcome selfcentric thoughts in voting for nsw in march. let environment and help for poor people be the decision of our vote. let us overcome pickering and try to work together for a better future for our children.

Dear Father God, I come to You through Jesus name.. Thank You for this day.. for this IS the day You have made.. I will rejoice and be glad in it!! Father I pause to pray today for our country Australia and our people.. Father thank You that the Victorian government.. gave us 300 dollars towards costs of our child starting high school!! Father I thank You for all government payments.. we are such a lucky country.. and we are blessed with having enough money to keep supporting those who are out of work, family payments, those on pensions and single parents etc.. Father thank You for the good rainfalls that fell around Sydney and Brisbane... Father thank You for our health care system.. Father many around our earth do not have access to hospitals and doctors.. Father thank You for our schools and universities.. Father for public transport and housing.. Father for blessing our nation.. Father thank You that we still have freedom to worship You!! Father be with all those today in Australia who are ministering to the needy.. and ministering in any way in prisons, schools or hospitals.. Father give them strength to serve You and those around them.. Father many still need rain.. I pray for rain.. and I pray for the farmers who are battling drought.. I thank You for those who have donated foods and money to their families.. I pray that many men, women and children come to know Jesus and follow Him... that their hearts would be open to the gospel message.. Guide all those in national and local governments and I pray for any Christians who work in these departments.. that You give them wisdom and favor... thank You Lord.. amen

Father God I come to You through Your son Jesus and his beautiful name that is above every name.. I pause to thank You for this day.. that this is the day that You made and I will rejoice in it and be glad!!
Father just taking part in that poll here this morning.. I want today to pray concerning Iraq and our involvement there as Australians.. Father I admit to You I don't understand about it.. I am glad that Sadaam was brought to justice for all that he did.. But Father so much more evil reigns in our world.. Father help our troops today over there.. away from families and homes... Father assist our government.. Mr Howard and those others who made decisions about our involvement there.. Father be with President Bush too and those who lead and govern Iraq... Father guide us and lead us forward to the future You have for us.. Father let us look to You.. and pray for Your help in these matters.. Father that You go before and guide Iraq, Australia and USA and others involved.. That You send angels to do what needs to be done.. that they fight the spiritual battles that go on in our countries and afar that affect us and draw us to battle and need to use military might.. Father help the people of Iraq caught up in this.. Father that they might come to believe on Jesus.. and know His love and salvation.. Father that through the terror of Iraq and how Australia is involved that many come to believe in Jesus and call out to You... Bless our government and lead them in the decisions they make.. and give them wisdom... I thank You that even as I fail to ask for the most pressing needs.. You know all things and Your Spirit intervene's with groans that cannot be expressed Thank You... amen..

I think we need to instead of putting our hands together and sitting on our knees talking, we need to actually do something that will help the troops and bring them home.

Unfortunately, the only reason I am here is to bring in a Secular voice and I have turned "more" atheist from seeing what people believe in here. No offence.

Remember one thing though.. life and what you read into it is often only the very surface of what is really going on.. The one thing I LOVE about being a believer in God.. is that for all that doesn't make sense.. faith sees more then what there is to see and finds hope and peace for it all!!
