Father God I want to thank You for the blessing it is to pray!! Thank You for allowing us Your children the privellege to carry everything to You in prayer!! Father I come again for rain.. Father our state of Victoria is so dry.. the lakes are drying up.. our resovoir's are emptying far too fast.. our farms are dust bowls.. Father God send us rain.. We need Your help.. Father I ask that through this drought we acknowledge YOU and not mother nature.. Father forgive us for our ignorance and sins.. Father we have sinned and this drought comes because of that.. Father turn our hearts toward You, help us see our faults and to turn from them.. Bless all the churches in Australia who are full of Your people, in every state.. Father may we honor only YOU!! Give us a heart for You and each other.. and to pray for our country and its people.. Help us see this life is not about us and our needs but about You and blessing each other.. Father it is so hot here today.. I do thank You for the sunshine.. but Oh Lord we so need rain.. I ask for You to send us some rain.. Many of our rivers and dams and lakes are empty or very low.. Father help us.. Father help those fighting bushfires in such heat.. I ask for rain to help put out the fire.. and wind that blows the fire back on itself.. Father I pray for the needy today.. Father help us to acknowledge You.. How many today go to work, eat, drink and entertain themselves without pausing to thank You for what they have.. that without You we could not have any of these things.. Dear Father God, I want my first post on Christian forums this morning to be to You!! I come through Jesus name to praise You and also to pray for our needs for You are our answer to every need!! Father thank You for this day, this is the day that You have made.. I will rejoice and be glad in it!! Father thank You for the clouds everywhere today and for the cooler weather.. I ask that those clouds give us some rain for our dry and thirsty land! Father I ask for our state of Victoria suffering from drought and bushfires to receive from Your hand rain state wide.. Father I thank You for all the hard working people fighting fires.. Strengthen them! Father help Mr Howard today and those who make desicions about Australia and its territories.. Father guide us Your people to seek Your face.. To live in such a way.. our light shines for the whole world to see that they may glorify You too!! Dear Father God I come through Jesus name.. Thank You for being able to worship freely yesterday at our local church!! Father we should never take our religious freedom for granted!! Father I thank You for the rain we got yesterday!! Father I ask that rain continue to fall around our needy state of Victoria and also in other states where it is needed.. Thank You for bringing us rain.. Father I pray for all the children going back to school across Australia in the next couple of days.. I pray for parents and teachers also.. For some it will be their first time at primary or secondary.. Father help the students settle in.. Father I pray for those who mentor through Kids Hope programs... those who teach regligious studies in schools that they will still be able to do so.. Father I pray that You guide our governments today.. those in local and federal.. Father that they make good desicions and that You protect our Nation from anti-God laws.. Father I pray for our multi-cultural nation that You help us live in peace and as one nation.. Father I thank You for those who minister the gospel in any way today in any capactiy on the streets, in hospitals or in prisons.. In homes or churches or wherever.. Father let us honor You in Australia.. let us shine our lights for the whole world to see.. to give You glory and honor.. Father I come before Your greatness to humble myself and say we as people here have sinned and our whole land is suffering because of it.. Father forgive us.. we need to honor You.. We need to turn from our sinful ways.. Father we desperately need rain.. please send us some rain.. Wash our land clean with not only rain but Your holy presence..
