Where we live we are blanketed today in smoke.. The sky is just so white... although the fires are far from where I am..

Dear Father God forgive us and help us.. Please send us some rain for we are in need.. Oh Lord we desperately need Your help right now.. Father thank You for those men and women who are out risking their lives to protect our homes and farms and families.. Father give them strength and protection.. Protect us from lives loss and help the animals get to safety.. Father I pray that many will pause to pray and call on Your name.. for You have said.. If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray.. and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways.. then I will hear from heaven.. I will forgive their sins and heal their land.. I give You all the praise for this precious promise.. Thank you Father God.. there has been a light rain here.. and the hot conditions have eased from 40 celcius to 20 celcius!! Father I pray that in the fire affected areas.. they get heavier showers then expected.. thank You for the cooler conditions.. I pray fire containment lines hold.. Fire-fighters are given strength and continued safety and homes are saved.. Father thank You that You are with us.. I pray people come to know Jesus through these terrible conditions.. fire and drought.. To You be all the glory.. Amen

Hey all, please keep praying for the current fire situation, it is getting far worse and looks like the fires will take until approx April or May to burn out. I was deployed to Mt Buller last Tuesday to Friday and am going back tomorrow until this Tuesday and all fire-fighters are very tired and also pray for the families of fire-fighters as they have a hard time too. We are all volunteers and we have to worry about all the normal family things and then have to worry about the fires! Thanks everyone

Father I have asked for rain.. so I shall give thanks that You have heard my prayers and will bring relief to the affected areas... Father I have asked that You go with those fighting fires.. Definitely have been praying for the fires and the water situation.
Sydneys water situation is pretty scarey. Saw on the news that they might have to do the recycled water thing, or they will run out of water within 2 years.
