Let's keep praying for Australia..

Please join me to pray for our farmers.. there is much depression.. leaving the land.. broken and needy people on the land.. Our farmers need our prayers to get their rain, to plant their crops and make a living.. also to provide our nations with food.. which will help with rising prices.. What happens on the land affects us all..

Praying today for a good soaking week of rain for country farmers in Australia..

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace on this forum. Where there is hatred, grant that I may sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is discord, unity; where there is doubt, faith; where there is error, Your truth and not my personal opinion; where there is despair, hope; where there is sadness, joy; where there is darkness, light. O, Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled by people here as to console them; to be understood by them, as to understand them; to be loved by them, as to love them: For it is in giving that we receive; it is in pardoning that we are pardoned; and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

Father,
I pray for the leadership of Australia to lead the nation into the right direction. I pray for Australians not to be too disheartened by the current economic and financial market downturns, and that your kingdom may be furthered through this time in which people will see that things of this world don't last. I pray particularly for Christians during this time that they won't struggle to turn towards you Lord and be shining your light. That they may have even more wisdom to understand the economic/financial situations and act in a Christ like manner rather than become emotionally attached to things of this world.
I'd like also to pray for the NSW government that you provide them with wisdom into making the decisions that will help the state develop and pray for people of the state to be more patient and understanding with the government.
I ask this in Jesus' name. AMen

Heavenly Father, thank You for this beautiful Christmas Eve. Most of all I thank You for giving us Your Son, Jesus. Jesus, thank You for bearing our sins on the cross so that we can live unto righteousness, and by Your stripes we were healed. We bless You, Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Tonight we will go to bed with great expectations looking forward to celebrating with family and friends the birth of our Lord and Savior. It is Australia Day! A day to celebrate our great country and to pray for revival amongst our people. That GOD bless our country and draw us together, to heal us, set us free from evil, hurt and anything that takes away our joy and the beauty of life!!

Dear Father God, thank YOU for Australia on this special day when we celebrate our people, country, freedom and the coming of the fleets to our big beautiful country.. LORD we are so blessed.. let us never forget that YOU brought us together.. YOU gave us life here and created our land with its rugged mountain beauty and the desert sands.. YOU created the coastland.. and the native aboriginal australians.. LORD.. bless us and our people.. let the HOLY SPIRIT come.. we ask for YOU to forgive us for not acknowledging YOU as our creator and LORD!! IT is YOU that has brought together such diversity of life.. such rich resources in our land and people.. FATHER send not only the rains to wash our earth and bring needed refreshment for beast and crop.. but also refresh us with the HOLY SPIRIT to know the purpose of our lives.. to bring to light our hopes and dreams and to join us to YOU and to each other as never before.. LORD I want to pray for many to come to believe and know how much YOU love them.. I say.. in JESUS name... many Australians and New Zealanders are coming to know YOU and how much YOU love them.. LORD their spiritual eyes are opened and opening... LORD YOUR SPIRIT is being poured out even now as I pray.. and LORD men, women and children are turning towards YOUR light and acknowledging YOU and being set free from the things that keep them bound!! Father God so many hurting Victorians right now.. thank YOU LORD for the genorosity of Australians.. Father I lift up the grieving and burnt fire victims.. I lift up the communities which were almost destroyed completely.. I pray that they know YOUR peace and strength and courage and guidance to rebuild and go on with their lives.. Father God only YOU know why.. and we lift these people to YOU and ask for YOU to bless them.. and help them through this terrible time.. Thank YOU LORD that people survived.. LORD let the strong SPIRIT of GOD enter in to their lives and help them as only YOU can to find hope for the future and the goodness that can come even through impossible and hurting situations.. Thank YOU LORD amen

LORD I thank YOU for those who are saving the wildlife and nursing pets and animals.. I thank YOU for all volunteers and those rebuilding burnt out communities.. I thank YOU for the donations that keep pouring in and the love and care of Australians and others from around the world.. LORD bless our country and our state.. we need YOU.. I pray for spiritual eyes opened to the kindness of the LORD even when we do not acknowledge YOU.. LORD thank YOU for every drop of rain YOU send.. LORD I pray for Mr Rudd and all in politics who are making hard decisions to help restore and balance our economy.. LORD I speak wisdom to them and patience to the peoples as we wait upon YOU to help them work it out.. LORD I pray for hurting people all over our country that they turn to YOU for YOU can help them.. LORD I pray for the HOLY SPIRIT outpouring YOU promised to come to the great Southern Land!! LORD I acknowledge YOU here and believe for the healing of Victorians through the fires.. and also Queenslanders from the floods.. Oh my I have not been here in ages.. I feel bad..

But I want to praise GOD that our part of the state has had lots of rain.. and they will be lessening our water restrictions!! Glory to GOD.. we prayed alot for rain earlier in this thread!! And this morning as I was driving I thought about sharing that here..
