Woman Defies Prognosis—Makes Astounding Recovery from Deep Coma
...just when all signs pointed to Jill breathing her last breath, she started to mumble.
Teresa Neumann (September 14, 2007)
(Oklahoma)—In yet another example of someone in a coma "coming back to life," the story of Jill Finley is truly amazing in several ways. According to an MSNBC report, the 31-year old woman had suffered from a congenital condition that caused her heart to stop beating. Her desperate husband, Ryan, had performed CPR on her to save her life and then sat with her in the hospital reading the Bible to her. But the ensuing coma had left Jill in such a seemingly hopeless condition that ultimately, Ryan—believing his wife wouldn't want to live in the condition she was—made the agonizing decision to remove her from life support. The doctors prepped Ryan for saying his final good-byes to Jill, and just when all signs pointed to Jill breathing her last breath, she started to mumble. After a few moments, Ryan reportedly realized that his wife was saying, "Get me out of here." Not only that, she was asking him to take her to her favorite restaurant. (Photo: MSNBC)
After going through physical therapy, Jill Finley is nearly back to normal. Appearing on the TODAY show with co-host Meredith Vieria this week, Jill was quoted as saying she cherishes every day with her husband, who was nominated for an Oklahoma Heart Hero award for his CPR work.

* Although things are not perfect * Because of trial or pain * Continue in thanksgiving * Do not begin to blame * Even when the times are hard * Fierce winds are bound to blow * God is forever able * Hold on to what you know * Imagine life without His love * Joy would cease to be * Keep thanking Him for all the things * Love imparts to thee * Move out of "Camp Complaining" * No weapon that is known * On earth can yield the power * Praise can do alone * Quit looking at the future * Redeem the time at hand * Start every day with worship * To "thank" is a command * Until we see Him coming * Victorious in the sky * We'll run the race with gratitude * Xalting God most high * Yes, there'll be good times
and yes some will be bad, but ...
* Zion waits in glory ..
where none are ever sad!

This is just wonderful...and I have just turned again...away from complaining to thanksgiving...by His grace and mercy.
He is gloriously triumphant in all things.

All the ends of the world shall remember
and turn to the Lord,
And all the families of the nations shall worship before You.
For the kingdom is the Lord's,
and
He rules over the nations.
Psalm 22:27-28
"But for you who fear my name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in his wings. And you will go free, leaping with joy
like calves let out to pasture." Malachi 4:2 TLB
Father, I bless and praise you because there's healing in the wings of the Sun of Righteousness. I praise you that there are blessings in His wings, and one of them is healing. Thank you for setting me free so I can leap with joy like a calf let out to pasture! Father, no worldly joy compares with the joy I have because of the healing in those wings. Glory! I will continually praise you and respect and have awe for your name because of your good promises to ALL of your children!

After being examined medically, one of the women in the group came over to the boy and anointed him with oil, and prayed for him...
(Thailand)—During a recent mission trip to Thailand, a group from Global Gateway Network (GGN), experienced a wonderful healing by the hand of the Lord, as they prayed for a boy coming through their health clinic. (Photo: GGN)
Pat Davis, Vice President of GGN, was a witness to this miracle, and the joyful reaction of the many who had come for medical treatment.
GGN is described on their website, as an inter-denominational Christian organization that exists to make life better for those who are suffering around the world.
One of the unique ways Global Gateway Network effectively fulfills its purpose is by expanding and enhancing people's God-given dreams through challenging adventures in a cross-cultural setting. As we encourage a pioneering spirit and network with other organizations of similar vision our mutual goals are achieved. At the heart of everything we do is our continued passion to help the hurting.
Our mandate is forged by building orphanages, medical facilities, providing clean drinking water, shelter, offering education and meeting basic needs of disadvantaged people around the world. One of the orphanages GGN has built is the House of Hope, located on the border of Thailand and Burma (Myanmar). There are about 26 Karen Children being cared for there. The condition in Burma for Karen people, including children, is genocidal. (Photo: GGN)
"Many of the kids are just living in the jungle," says Davis. "Most of them are Burmese (Myanmar) refugees (Karen people), and they come across the border. We've leased a couple of buildings in Baan Mai, and are taking care of these kids."
In May of this year, GGN organized a medical mission trip to Thailand, with a group of 14 people (4 doctors, 2 nurse practitioners, 4 nurses, and the rest lay people). The group was able to bring $750,000 worth of medical supplies for the River Kwai Hospital [and clinics].
Pat Davis talked about the trip, and the remarkable experience of extending the love of Jesus—practically through medicine, and spiritually through prayer—for the many needy people he met, as well as an amazing miracle of healing.
"After we took care of the kids in the orphanage, we brought medical supplies to a place called Three Pagodas Pass, on the border of Burma and Thailand, and to the River Kwai Hospital, and served there.
"Later, we were set up in the Buddhist temple, in Baan Mai, and we saw people all day. The last day, I was doing triage, and [since we'd been seeing people all day] I was very tired. So I began training a couple of others who'd come on the trip, to do triage. It was after 5:30 at night and they were still processing people. I was sitting on a bench, watching what was going on, as they asked the patients questions [with a translator]. Eventually, 8 Buddhist monks came and sat next to me on a bench.
"A family arrived and was checked out, but when they got to their young son (he looked to be about 14), he seemed like something was wrong. After being examined medically, one of the women in the group came over to the boy and anointed him with oil, and prayed for him. The boy just stood there, and then all of a sudden he said something, and began to laugh.
"The crowd just erupted! Everyone was talking excitedly to each other, (not in English) and even the eight Buddhist monks got up and got in line. Everyone was jovial and happy, and would come to the boy and talk with him—this went on till 8 o'clock at night.
"Later I said to [my friend] George, 'That was really something the way those people were so happy.' He told me, 'Pat, you don't understand. That boy you thought was 14-years-old was actually 20. He's been a deaf-mute since birth!' I didn't have a clue what had happened [until George told me]."

"I realized, oh my gosh, I'm sitting here, I'm a fat 50-year-old mom and I've managed to scoop al-Qaida."
(South Carolina)—Laura Mansfield (not her real name, since her job has generated numerous death threats), is a South Carolina mother who is fluent in Arabic. According to an AP report, from her laptop at home she hacks into jihadists' computers and alerts authorities when she finds anything suspicious.</I>
It was she who recently discovered the Osama bin Laden video before al-Qaida announced it.
She is quoted as saying: "I realized, oh my gosh, I'm sitting here, I'm a fat 50-year-old mom and I've managed to scoop al-Qaida."

"In the jungle near the house, there are jaguars, hawks, snakes. But his guardian angel and God protected my son."
(Rio De Janeiro, Brazil)—Little Neilson Oliveira Lima, only three-years-old, had wandered into the dense Amazon rain forest and jungle near his home, attempting to follow after his father on September 16th. But Neilson became lost, and was not found again until 11 days later, on September 27th, by his cousin. The toddler was discovered three miles away from his home, and according to an Amazonas State officer, "Nobody knows what he ate or how he survived." (Photo: mongabay.com)
The boy's mother offered an explanation, telling reporters, "In the jungle near the house, there are jaguars, hawks, snakes. But his guardian angel and God protected my son."

Yep, what a wonderful story of how HIS angels protect and save lives. I know from my own experiences the number of times his angels saved me from injury and death in my 70 years of life.
