Norman Blake, eh? Mike, any chance you have lyrics and/or chords for the tune Angel Gabriel Norman and Nancy sing? There are a dozen tunes with that name, but the one sung by the Blakes is lovely, has the words 'he passed over' in the chorus. It doesn't seem to be listed in their Rounder Records, but I've heard it a dozen or so times.
Not off the top of my head, but I post with someone on another message board who should know. I'll ask him and get back to you.
Thank you, Mike. I tried my own favourite folk/blues/bluegrass board and got several other songs with the name, but not the right song. I'd really like to learn it.
Randy Rhoads
Eric Clapton
Steve Via
Eddy VanHalen
Kirk Hammit
George Lynch
Not in that order.
I think some guitar players who were over looked back in the day were Queensrych guitarists. Chris Degarmo and i forget the other guys name, but those guys were very talented as song writers and players.

Sorry I forgot about you.
I asked and nobody could tell me. They're pretty knowledgable there, so if they don't know, I don't know where else to go.
1) James Marshall Hendrix (the one, the only)
2) Wes Montgomery
3) Trey Anastasio
4) Senor Beppe Gambietta
5) Django Reinhardt
6) Angus Young
7) John Scofield
