Thanks! I'm in the Prophetic Ministry and Deliverance Ministry forums now. How will your family be spending Thanksgiving?
We're going to my aunt's house near Gainesville. There'll be about 25 of us (5 generations), so we'll have a great time.

It's not even "too much Old Testament", in the Old Testament God is compassionate, shows mercy, is patient and long-suffering. Consider the lesson we learn from Jonah, or the word delivered to Ezekiel that God does not desire the death of the wicked, that God takes no pleasure or joy in the destruction of the wicked by desires that that the wicked repent and change their ways so they might live and have life. God has always been a merciful, compassionate, kind and patient God who has no desire for the destruction of the wicked, who has loving-kindness for the sinner and for the wicked person to change their ways and truly live and have life. -CryptoLutheran |

Depends on the flowers...
I love the smell of lilies. A lot of cut flowers don't smell that much to me though...

18 and 36 kids seems like a lot. I hope you really enjoy 'parenting'? What do you find to be the most personally challenging and rewarding aspects of working with young souls?
What do you consider to be the most remarkable reflection in your recent family gathering in Gainesville? |

No, but a friend did give me a CD that had techno/trance and opera blended together. It was surprisingly good. 18 and 36 kids seems like a lot. I hope you really enjoy 'parenting'? What do you find to be the most personally challenging and rewarding aspects of working with young souls?
I do enjoy parenting...
Most challenging-- just maintaining patience when the 30th child that day is throwing a tantrum.
Most rewarding-- seeing a child feel proud of themself because they learned a new skill. What do you consider to be the most remarkable reflection in your recent family gathering in Gainesville?
I didn't do a lot of reflecting... it was a quick trip up and back, and since I took one of the kids from Everyday Blessings with me, I spent most of my "free time" watching him.
Best thing that happened, though, was I was able to borrow a family photo album with pics of several generations-- all the way back to my great-great-grandparents-- so that I could scan the photos to make copies.

Every Christmas when I was a kid, my parents always filled my brother and my stockings with lots of different kinds of fruit, nuts, and candy-- always including some of those soft, chewy Christmas mints that look kind of like a regular peppermint but with a Christmas tree in the middle. We always spent Christmas morning opening our presents and eating those mints. To this day, every time I see them in a store, it instantly brings back memories of my family sitting on the floor in our living room on Christmas morning.

I haven't come across those mints but it's great to hear you have something like them to always remind you of those mornings . Do you still get to see your family for Christmas? |
